There are so many positive things that result from not having to go to the store to obtain what you need, but how exactly would this be possible? One word simply defines this; Instacart. You’re probably wondering what Instacart is. Instacart is a system of delivering groceries to one’s home. There’s an app and website that normal people just like you and I can download on our smart phones to order our groceries right to our front door. Not every grocery store is involved in this system, but some that are included are Wegmans, Tops, and even Walgreens. There are actually three forms of this; you can either do a shop and deliver, shopper only, or a delivery only. Some stores have designated shoppers for their store and then once the shopper completes the order, they place the bags on a stand for someone who does deliveries only to obtain. The ones who deliver then bring these bags to the customer, wherever their homes may be. The unfortunate thing about this is that the deliverer doesn’t know where the house is until they take the bags. The house can be up to miles and miles away, and often out of the way for their next delivery. On the other hand, some people do both shop and delivers. The service will make life a lot easier for those who multi task frequently and want to get things done on time. For example, a university student has to study for exams and the nearest grocery store is about a 20 minute ride, instead of having to stop studying and go to the store, the student can order the food that they want and not have to move from their house.
