When you think of clean energy most people will think of wind, especially in Alberta where the wind is always blowing, but it can take from fifteen years up to a couple hundred years, if it not placed correctly, for the wind mill to pay for its self. So what is the most environmentally friendly and efficient type of power? Its nuclear power. Most people do not believe this because of the few negative things that are associated with, such as Chernobyl. Although this was a tragedies that caused many deaths it is an extremely rare situation. In Canada today nuclear power is highly regulated so this does not happen. People also associate deadly waste with nuclear power but “by reprocessing that waste, a nuclear plant can recover up to 95% otherwise wasted uranium and plutonium” [spg energy]. Bruce power is a Canada company that deals with electricity generation. They want to work with aboriginal communities, municipal and country government so that they are more entwined with the communities that they are working in. As a company they strive for safe and environmentally friendly operations.

The stake holders in this situation is Bruce Power, Peace River residents, and the people who will be provided with the power produced at the plant. Bruce Power is a stakeholder because if the plant does not go up then they will not make money. The people in Peace River are stakeholders because they are one who could be affected if there is a disaster and they also have to deal with having a large plant going up near their homes. Lastly there are the people who will be getting power from the prosed plant, if the plant does not go up then they will have to stay with the power provider they have, which may be unreliable or
