A dangerous atmospheric deviation is one of the greatest environmental challenges that face human today. One of them is the global warming. Harmful gases are the main causes for this problem as they pollute the atmosphere, subsequently cause global warming. Also, the increase in the usage of chemical fertilizers in agriculture is very dangerous that it helps in causing this problem too. Accordingly, human health will be badly affected, and people migrated from their countries.
The increase in volume of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases released from the burning of fossil fuels, land clearing, agriculture, and other human activities. As we all know, global warming can lead to many serious consequences and there are some ways that we should take before the situation turns worse. One of the main effects of global warming is on human health. This is because as the temperature of the atmosphere increases rapidly and the earth becomes warm, it affects the health of human and they are exposed to diseases. With the increase in the rainfall, disease such as malaria that transmitted by water are likely to spread.
The air isn’t safe to breathe in certain areas. Global warming is responsible for all this. B. Thesis: The causes of global warming and climate change are because of increased emissions of greenhouse gases, and the effects of this are rising temperatures and more severe natural disasters. II. Body A.
Climate change is believed to be the biggest issue facing the Earth. It is a long-term change in the Earth’s temperatures and climate (“Climate Change”, Dictionary.com). Our atmosphere is part of the reason why we can live on Earth with reasonable temperatures. Humans have been emitting unnatural greenhouse gases, like coal, oil, and gas. This is changing the natural systems that take place in our atmosphere.
The unwanted substances that pollute the environment are call pollutant. According to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the major pollutants contribute to air pollution are ground level ozone, particulate matter, carbon monoxide, lead, sulphur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide. These pollutants can further classify into primary pollutants and secondary pollutants. Primary pollutants are substances that emit to the air directly in a process. Some examples of primary pollutants are ash from
Introduction: Today it is thought that global warming is a serious problem in our society. Scientist say that global warming has caused an abundance of serious matter like polar bear population decreased and extreme weather conditions. In this essay, global warming will be discussed and the cause and effects of it, as well as to what we can do to help prevent it. Ultimately, a conclusion will be raised answering the focus question, “Will global warming be the end of the human race?” First Section: Global Warming and its Causes Global warming is an unnatural warmer of the earth. Global warming is when the average temperature of earth's atmosphere and oceans rise.
All the above mentioned contribute to air pollution in one way or the other. I see methane as the most common gas in most of the cases, in both man-made and in natural sources of air pollution. Effects of air pollution • Global warming- this is what we are experiencing currently, the increase or unstable temperature, increase in sea levels and the melting of ice in ice regions, the change and loss of habitat may occur if nothing is done soon. • Eutrophication this is a condition whereby high amount of nitrogen present in some pollutants get developed on sea surface and turn it’s self into algae and adversely affect fish and marine plants and animal species. • Respiratory and lung problems-when pollution levels are very high and have the potential to cause respiratory, lung, heart and cancer.
Pollutants are gases and particles that, when at high enough levels, are harmful to humans, animals, vegetation, and even the climate. Although it is common to blame pollution on human actions, it can also come from natural sources, such as volcanoes and forest fires. Additionally, pollutants enter the air from either point source (single, identifiable source) or non-point source (widespread or multiple sources). Furthermore, pollutants are categorized as primary or secondary pollutants. Primary pollutants those that are already dangerous when released directly into the atmosphere, such as with carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
In the first place, air pollution could affect the environment notably. Because of the sulfur acid which is produced by human activities, the clouds would gain the acidic material than with the rain fall into the ground. This could adversely affect the nutrients in the soil and pollute the water. Moreover, the rain might damage the buildings or cause disease to human (Eschooltoday, n.d). The other environment problem caused by air pollution is global warming.
