The obsession with education in government policies and how it lead to a national development strategy. The authors assert that the development of the Chinese education system is good for China’s changing economy by boosting the growth of the educational workforce. This is a useful article to have read for my research because it helps the reader to get to know how China’s education system works because of the detail it goes into when describing how the various groups get impacted by education.
