Let’s all be honest for a minute, some kids really do deserve a beating. Smacking your kids can be a great help for them in the long run, it will help teach them much better than a stern talking too. There are many benefits of hitting your kids, but people will obviously argue that hitting your kids can be a terrible thing. Of course, it only turns terrible if you take it too far. According to the Overall Benefits of Spanking Children, written by Stephanie Perata on storify.
Although child soldiers have done many horrendous things like kill innocent people and forcibly recruit more children, there is a reason for everything and in this case is being forced and the influence of drugs and alcohol. These children may seem dangerous in every aspect but always remember that they never choose to commit these atrocious crimes. In fact, as you finish reading, keep in mind that they are just like every other normal human being out there except they were not as lucky as you are because they unfortunately were those who became child
Bullying Can Be Prevented Bullying is a form of violence to pick on victims because they are different from their bullies, have insecurity/jealousy or home problems. The hate towards their victim has something to do with the victim having an unusual gift or being intelligent the bullies has yet to become. It is important that this behavior should be prevented or it will become worse. Bullying is one of the main issues public and private schools have to face on a day-to-day basis. When the bully takes it too far, the victim snaps and retaliates by fighting him/her back physically or verbally.
(source used) D. Concluding Sentence: Therefore, it is obvious that physical punishment is still being used by parents widely, yet this idea can be easily opposed due to the physical harm that the child is exposed to and how this creates children’s fear from their parents rather than loving them. III. Body Paragraphs IV. First Reason: psychological A. Topic Sentence: There is overwhelming evidence that physical punishment is both ineffective and harmful to a child’s psychological development.
Many people think that these games will not have a major impact in a student or teens life that teens will be more prepared to face the real world an all its dangerous. But I say that yes these games might teach kids that the real world isn 't always that safe but I believe that these games show kids to be violent and reckless. To conclude this is why many parents and government officials believe that kids should not be allowed to play violent role playing games.By not letting kids play these games we can prevent more horrible and tragic shooting involving
Kids have only seen and grown up around violence, so violence is what they result to. Psychologist, Patrick Ewing, the author of “Kids Who Kill” provides information that “Knighton has only vague memories of beatings by his father” suggesting that Knighton was always surrounded by abuse (Traver 2). Since Knighton and other kids are raised poorly, it shouldn’t be a shock that they treat others horribly due to their challenging childhood. “Young people committing seemingly motiveless killings were themselves sexually or physically abused,” says Patrick Ewing, suggest that many of these kids are victims to abuse (Traver 2). We see these kids as cold hearted and ruthless when in all actuality, they need help to recover.
As long as former child soldiers show that they will not recommit their acts of violence, they should be granted amnesty. Child soldiers are often forced into being violent. They shouldn’t be held responsible for things that they were essentially forced to do. Although there is plenty of evidence showing that child soldiers should be given amnesty, some may argue the opposite. People may say that they could sacrifice their own lives instead of killing others, but that is too much to expect of kids.
However, to acquire a sense of morality in these beliefs, one must thoroughly consider all angles of a situation to grasp a hold of empathy. Moreover, when people believe they are right, they are not ashamed of how they speak or act. One local noticed: “There's people around here that will disown their kids if they try to mix things up like that. A lot of parents, not just one or two” (Prom Night n.pag.). Ageism is like a disease.
The practice of spanking often correlates with children developing into violent adolescents. In addition to its ineffectiveness at correcting children’s behaviour, spanking can lead to life long side effects. Long term effects of corporal punishment that children develop include mental health issues, increase in delinquent behaviour during childhood, criminal behaviour and negative parent-child relationships. (Sage Journals, 2000) In addition to long term side effects that corporal punishment has on children, national professional organizations agree and strive to eliminate corporal punishment. Coates later realizes that corporal punishment by loving-but-hard parents can be replaced by the revelation that “love could be soft and understanding”. Continuing the violent kind of physical punishment in this generation can lead to serious problems; the parent might be punished by state law for violating the child right as in the case of Peterson. Once, Coates talks about the instance where he had to prevent his child happiness by not letting him to play with children he did not know. Coates himself was not happy for what he did
