Stress is a visitor too all of humanities life-span and if not to all, then to most of us. According to Mayo clinic’s website, “Stress symptoms can affect your body, your thoughts and feelings, and your behavior. Being able to recognize common stress symptoms can give you a jump on managing them. Stress that 's left unchecked can contribute to many health problems, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity and diabetes”. ("How stress affects your body and behavior", 2017).
Health Psychology can be a leading expert into investigating the why we stress, what makes us stress, what happens or could happen from stress and how to relieve stress of a behaviour we may have developed from it. Health professionals in Psychology base their interventions on a number of models that try to explain peoples health-related behaviour.
