The Visual and the Written in Persepolis An autobiography usually has a purpose as to why it was written, either to try and fight or change something, like in Fredrick Douglass ' Narrative of an American Slave, to tell a life story, or show historical and political history through the personal life story and experiences. One way of telling that personal story is through a visual autobiography, not the conventional way, but, in my opinion a much more powerful and engaging way of telling one 's life story. It gives the reader a chance to engage in the personal life story and really sympathize and understand it. In the following paper I will discuss the visual autobiography of Marjane Satrapi- Persepolis. I will show how presenting the life story in a visual manner contributes to a dipper understanding of what the autobiographer tries to convey, and how it helps to empathize with the autobiographer.

Art is a part of human life by birth. Art is following humans like a shadow ; without art humans cannot imagine life’s origin. It is only art which teaches a lesson of culture to person. As per 18th or 19th century. We come to know that how art has contributed in shaping the human life.
Introduction Art is the expression of human creativity, skill and imagination. There are many different forms and types of visual art, from painting; to sculpting; to modeling; to photography and many more (Wikipedia). A lot of people around the world may not know about artists that change their artistic direction because of photography. People also may suggest that art is only about painting and drawing, but photography influenced painting by giving artists new tools; which then influenced the artists who experimented with colour, mass and lighting (Reference). But to what extent did the invention of photography influence the development of painting from the end of 19th century to 1930?
The reason I chose to analyze the character development of Don Damien, in the story ‘The Beautiful Soul of Don Damien’ is because of the other characters contrasting views about Don Damien, and also the peculiar way the character development is brought about by Juan Bosh. As aforementioned, the story is dictated from the soul’s point of view, using its ability to sense all the other characters thoughts and emotions. The soul’s discovery of how it is perceived by its host’s (Don Damien) ‘friends’ and family is unusual but satisfactory in it’s attempt to captivate the audience and deliver a well-written story with the help of writer’s techniques and so on. We follow Don Damien’s soul throughout the story, and through the soul’s ability to understand people’s thoughts, and Juan Bosch’s descriptions, we learn the truth about how others surrounding Don Damien perceive him to be, and also whether or not Don Damien does indeed have a beautiful soul.
Throughout the history, the terms idealism and realism have evolved, starting from the Greek’s sculptures and influencing different regions. Idealism in art means conveying the ideal and artistic side of the subject, and it tends to depict “what should be” more than “what it really is”. On the other hand, realism tends to care more about the true representation of the subject without idealizing it and giving it extra features that makes it close to the viewers. In this paper, the themes realism and idealism will be addressed using the Vesperbild sculpture from the Middle Rhine Region in Germany as an example, discussing the “Pietà”, its cultural context, and comparing it to another pietà from the same region. The Vesperbild (also called the Roettgen Pietà) is a wooden sculpture that was made around 1330 C.E.
Because art is the product of our thoughts and feelings interpreted by sense perception, and if language shapes the way we think, therefore, language affects art. It is important to know about he interaction of ways of knowledge with a certain areas of knowledge, in creating knowledge, because it helps strengthen the knowledge gained, and understand the importance of sense perception in obtaining the desired knowledge, as well as language that is of a paramount importance in gaining knowledge because it is the most importance cognitive faculty that the human being can’t start a life without. A deaf person would argue that language doesn't necessarily translate to words, language can go beyond that, for people with disabilities to hear or speak, sign language would be the best for them, however, this type of language is not understandable by everybody, that is why body language comes as a substitute. On the other hand, every human being, despite their origin or background, would argue that they can’t live without
He learns to paint out of interests, and purses it as a career, to whom is he serving a purpose to by drawing portraits of other people? Although this can be associated with personal gratification which is very personal, this is his career from which he earns for living. Therefore it does serve a meaning and purpose. Art gives the creator of the art a purpose in their personal life, because in often cases artistes are inspired by their personal experiences, thus they illustrate it to their audience. In often cases it is seen as an ease to release possible tensions.
The greater part of us consider expressions of the human experience to incorporate the abstract expressions: fiction, innovative true to life, expositions and verse; the performing expressions, for example, move, theater and film; and the visual expressions, which incorporate painting, model, blended media and establishment craftsmanship. Expressions of the human experience incorporate a more extensive range of our lives. Whatever control you pick amongst the craftsmanship and outline class, you are sure to learn inside and out about its components. The components characterize craftsmanship and in this manner its study is vital, particularly in the event that you are considering a vocation as a visual creator, web architect, stone carver or a craftsman. Information of workmanship and the outline will empower you to make more progress because of adjusted plans and fine arts.
There are important aspects that are needed to be able to create Realistic Minimalistic art pieces such as shadows, intricate detailed work, fading and symbolism, which have all been incorporated into both my art works and the works of Ileana Hunter. This theme of Realistic Minimalism captures all the aspects of Ileana Hunter’s works as well as my own works. How Ileana Hunter’s Use of Minimalism, Realism and Shadows Have Been Embraced in My Art Pieces: Minimalism in art describes movements in various forms of art and design, most commonly in visual art and music, where the work exposes the essence, essentials or identity of a subject by eliminating certain non-essential forms, features and concepts. Realism in art is the idea of representing subject matter truthfully without any artificial elements, exotic or supernatural elements. Shadows in art and in general is a space where light from a light source
