Everyone who owns a television has seen the “Somewhere in America” commercial at least once, which was published by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. This commercial is full of emotions and most people, “Always change the channel because they can’t take it anymore,” (McLachlan). The most depressing parts of this commercial is the pictures because the dogs and cats are all beaten up and suffering from being abused and neglected by their owners. As a matter of fact, they are trying to make the audience feel sympathetic so they can join the ASPCA. The ASPCA tries to encourage audience monetary donation by using ethos by their tone, logos and pathos from the pictures and the statistics.
That’s when I came across a second article while I researched church groups that tried to make a difference in their communities. The article is written by Teena M. Stewart and its title is “Make your church volunteer friendly”. In the article the author does a great job of explaining how volunteering and helping others is great not physically but also emotionally Teena states: “when you volunteer you step outside of your own world an touch the lives of others” (Stewart, 2003). All of the members of the Dynasty youth- Ministry church group including both my interview subjects Junior and Adolfo have all put in many hours of volunteer work. I know because the church is so close to my house I have seen them cleaning up neighborhoods that are so close to mine. When I asked Adolfo why he enjoys volunteer work he told me “I like making the communities look a lot cleaner and hopefully it will inspire the people watching us to do the same for their communities and families”. The Dynasty Youth- Ministry raises money to travel to other places where they can be of help. They recently sold tamales outside of the cities Sam’s club to raise money so they could travel to Mexico to help clean local neighborhoods that are in poverty. From what I have learned while conducting my research is that if people gave the church group a try
Secondly, the Salvation Army carefully pays attention to its relationships with donors and believes that their support and help is essential for the entire organization. Through
While creating my rhetorical analysis paper I used all of my typical writing processes. I began this assignment by selecting a commercial that I thought would be the most appealing in the superbowl. After selecting my commercial I did some research at the library using EBSCOhost. I then created an outline on what my paper would be about and pieced all of its parts together. In the future I will try to recieve help earlier on because at first I struggled to understand what the purpose of the paper was. Eventually I was able to figure it out on my own with research and through asking peers, but it would've been a lot easier to just ask for an advisors or instructors help.
Create engaging textual and visual content. Jessica Humphrey, a visual designer and marketing consultant of Monarch Visual, urges businesses to concentrate on audience engagement before anything else. “Think about what ‘voice’ your content (should have) and think about how you can make that voice heard while still staying within your brand’s guidelines,” she said. “Finding that harmony is the key to being successful. If you have a great brand, but present your content in a boring way, it’s no good. If you have great and engaging content, but a weak and forgettable brand, that’s no good either.”

I will also be aiming to understand how the structures and techniques used in the advert represent the brand and company.
This unit has really opened up my eyes and level of thinking. I had not actually thought about branding until I read this week 's reading step by step that made me realize that I can actually brand my product effectively using the tools and skills have learned in this unit. I would like to focus on improving the website the branding skills I have just aquired so that I can perfect them to help build my brand. I gave positive feedback and point my fellow peers to things they need to improve on. I received feedback with an open mind and would make changes suggested my fellow peers. The product and I seem to be so entwined because it is a true reflection of who I am as a person and I see some of my personal traits in my product and what it stands

The structure of HOPE will be a nonprofit agency. Being an extension off of the Louisiana State prison system, HOPE will be categorized as a non-profit agency. Any of HOPE’s remaining income will be put towards achieving our goals of helping inmates reintegrate into society successfully and HOPE’s advocacy for policy change (Hansmann, 1980). HOPE’s main source for funding will be from Federal and State level grants. There are grants that can be accessed through multiple Federal departments (U.S. Department of Justice, 2015). The third option for funding would come from private organizations that advocate and support reentry programs. It will be the task of the LCSW’s to find possible grants, apply for grants, and make changes within
The most likely constituents for the Mystic Seaport organization are the people that use the docking ports in the area or live in the area, those who are interested in maritime activities, and those who are interested in learning about and maintaining the historical aspects of America’s seafaring past. I believe that these would be the best constituents to seek donations from because they would all have an avid interest in maintaining the Mystic Seaport in operating conditions and to continue to grow in other aspects. For example, the people that live within the area and who use the seaport for personal use would have an interest in maintaining Mystic Seaport because it provides a constant income for the area as well as keeping the interest

Branding aims to establish a significant and differentiated presence in the market that attracts and retains loyal customers (Business dictionary.com). Branding precede and underlie any marketing effort, it is not push but pull. Branding is the essential true value of an organization, product, or service. It communicates the characteristics, values, and attributes that clear view of what this particular brand. A brand is multidimensional constructs whereby managers augment products or services with values and this facilitates the process by which consumers confidently recognise and appreciate these values (De Chanatony et al
