I. INTRODUCTION
As the world becomes more integrated, the industrial tourism has turned into a vital sector of economies of many countries. Over the decades, tourism has approved not only its own position as a rapidly growing industry in developing country’s economy but also its far-reaching impact on the social life across the world. This paper discusses the role of tourism through analyzing all the aspects of the tourism that make major effects on the society and presents the in-depth overview of Vietnam tourism via defining its difficulty and suggesting some available solutions.

Firstly, the massive influx of foreign travelers is often associated with an increase in the level of environmental pollution. Air pollution is one of the most terrible consequences of tourism activities, which is almost derived from tourist transportation, especially by air transportation. According to Kimpee Olivar, air travel from tourists accounts for around 60 percent of total air emissions that leads to the global environmental change, such as photochemical pollution, acid rain, and global warming.( June 2016)
Besides air pollution, inhabitants living near the tourism area also suffers from water pollution affecting directly to the whole living activity of citizens. In tourism field, we can assume that is the responsibility of both tourist actions and poor waste management. Visitors are one of the main factors causing water pollution due to their bad consciousness of protecting the environment. In another word, some visitors still leave litters without obeying the regulation of environmental protection. Besides tourist activity, tourism managers have to take responsibility for their lack of environment control. Unfortunately, Cat Ba national park, one of three largest islands in Viet Nam, faces with the effect of marine pollution. In particular, each summer, Cat Ba Bay is damaged not only by the harmful discharge from those traveling ship and tons of fishing ships but also by the action of disposing a large amount of rubbish into the water without treatment of over 10 floating restaurants.
