In the film, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, the viewers are introduced to the main character, Walter Mitty. From the beginning, Walter’s actions and words can lead one to infer that his character is painfully shy, awkward and quiet. In combination with his awkwardness and shyness, he continually has these moments where he enters “his own world,” and fantasizes about the things he’s too timid to do or that he finds heroic. This is especially unusual to his peers and co-workers who try to converse openly with him.

Though for one, it is all in his hallucinations, while the other embarks on wild excursions across the world. In the stories “THe Secret Life of Walter Mitty” by James Thurber and “Uncle Marcos” by Isabel Allende, one is thrown into the craziness of the protagonists. Both Walter Mitty and Uncle Marcos craved adventure in their lives, but only one man could do so outside of his mind.
Dinner with Walter mitty it would be fun and kind of .Walter would be a nice man to talk and eat with at a dinner table. But Mitty would go to a different place than at the dinner table like in an imaginary place in lala land. People would make fun of him and would throw things at him and think he is a weirdo and a creep because the was just in a different place. He was in the place for 3/4s of the time to and from his job in the cafe on main street. For example, the drive to the to his job to the cafe was long and not fun when he was acting like a co pilot
What makes Benjamin Franklin an American? Benjamin Franklin was one of the founding fathers of the United States of America. When one thinks of America, thoughts go back to the revolution, independence and in one way or another; Benjamin Franklin. He was someone who gave so much to the people with his writing and lived by his own advice. His life set a model for those who were looking to build something for themselves.
This particular autobiography begins with an open note from Benjamin Franklin, to his son, William Franklin. William Franklin was the Royal Governor of New Jersey of the time being. The letter states that Benjamin was writing this very autobiography in the summer of 1771, on vacation. He had believed he should take the time on his well deserved vacation, to evaluate his own life, to give insight to his offspring. He then mentions all, if not most of his family ancestry, leaving kind words to brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, and finally, an ode to his beloved parents.
Risk-taking is an inevitable part of life. One must take risks if they want to accomplish anything for themselves, as success is not born from taking the easy way out. However, taking risks is no easy task, as it requires a lot of courage and self-confidence to do things outside of one’s comfort zone. Walter Palmer, an American dentist from Minnesota went on a hunting trip to Zimbabwe at the beginning of July. He was found to be responsible for shooting Cecil, a protected lion that was one of the most popular tourist attractions in Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park. Palmer denies knowing that the animal was protected when he killed it, although some people believe otherwise. Despite the fact that the animal was killed in a protected zone, Palmer is not going to face any legal consequences for his actions because his hunting permits were “all in order”. Some people believe that the government of Zimbabwe chose not to prosecute Palmer because “We don't want hunters like Mr. Palmer to come to this country and face prosecution and prison.
