Remind is an app built by teachers for teachers. Meanwhile higher education has found it useful as well. Remind seeks to connect teachers and students outside of the classroom for simple things as homework reminders or for communication with parents.

Remind in higher education looks a little different. Remind is a messaging service that is one sided for the most part. It allows the “teacher” to send the class or group a message. This message is one way, so it’s like a text message announcement. The best thing about Remind is the separation of “classes” you can set up as many classes with as many participants as you want. I have used it with my Resident Assistant staff and it has worked great!
