There are implications that can be made on the fact that having values is a vital necessity for the success of an individual, family, or community. Every decision we make is a reflection of our values. These decisions allow for a better cohesion amongst people we meet in our everyday life. Imagine waking up every day at 4 am to go to work. You work very hard and laborious jobs throughout the day. At the end of the day, you are tired, you are weak. You just want to go home and relax. But as soon as you get home, you get taxed with the job of taking care of your family. You have to provide food, clothing, shelter, and ensure that they are safe and satisfied. You don 't make enough money, yet you still find a way to make ends meet because they are your family. This is the story of my father. When we moved to the U.S, there were many hardships that we had to go through. My mother didn 't know English very well, so she was limited to staying at home, and taking care of us. My father, however, was taxed on working various jobs that did not pay well. Sometimes I wonder why my father went through so much trouble? Even though he didn 't make a lot of money, he always made sure that I got whatever I asked for. He went above and beyond to get me the product of the highest quality. Familial love is a very deep, and personal love. It is one that gets stronger as time progresses. Through my father, I realized that love is a sacrifice. If you truly love someone, you will make the sacrifices necessary to ensure that they are more than satisfied. My father taught me that love is patient, and love is kind. He taught me that love can be implied in so many various ways. By caring about loved ones, showing compassion, and implementing good deeds, you show that you genuinely love them. My father has brought out the respectful, passionate, hard working side of my identity. Through nurturing and discipline my father taught me several things such as my hard work ethic, attention to detail, and what it feels like to be passionate about something. His expectations for me were always to the highest extent. He held me close to perfection on everything I did. This coincided with my faith and identity as a student athlete.

She has been able to travel around the world and live comfortably. My father also values hard work but is not happy in his trade.
