All in all, there are many ways to determine right from wrong, from having the government put laws in place to protect you from wrong choices, to thinking about how science can affect a decision you make. You can use any combination of methods to do so, but make sure to not let other people control what you think, like in Madeline L’engle’s book, A Wrinkle in Time, which shows us the danger if all people thought the same way. Throughout all the ways to determine right and wrong, though, my top three choices are still my parents who love me enough to teach me to make good choices, facts and statistics that tell the truth about what to do, and my conscience that always keeps me away from bad choices.
What is the right thing to do? Ellie Wiesel believes people should do the right thing but more importantly choose a side. Indifference is worse than anger, rage, and hatred as Ellie said with those three sometimes good can come of it. With indifference you are only punishing the victim and helping to achieve the goal of the unrighteous. This idea is not only held by Ellie but also former president Theodore Roosevelt who stated “In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing”.

Different forms of speech can affect one’s belief for long periods of time. In Madeleine L’Engle’s science fiction novel, “A Wrinkle in Time,” the children in this excerpt create tension between them and the man with the red eyes. We hardly see people say or think is this the right thing to do, we tend to see people do things out of there own free will not thinking if it’s the right thing of wrong thing to do. In certain situations, the differences between right and wrong is clear in all problems we face. Some may be hard to figure out but in reality there is always going to be one solution better than the other. We sometimes think about our options in the short term instead of the long run, so some options might seem better in the end but in reality we might have made a
Madeleine L’Engle. Who ever really heard that name? Well, we certainly did, and we hate it. Neither does Stalin. And neither does anybody else with a right mind in the universe.
The Question of Morality- I believe to measure your ability to balance their “right and wrong” a person must have morals to act and live by. For instance don’t be fooled by people who doesn’t have your best interest at heart because they bad habits or judgment can put you in an uncompromising situation that could reflect on you badly (1 Corinthians 15:33). I live by confessing my sins to God and asking for his forgiveness. (1 John 1:9) because I know that the mind and the flesh can be weak and temptation can be our downfall.
Moral Choices Life is full of choices. Sometimes it’s easy for a person to make the right choice, but other times it seems a bit harder. The writer J.K. She clearly states that choices are the fundamentals of our future, since our choices are what lead to our actions. Our choices can lead to happiness, sorrow, grief, anxiety or even bravery.
