Theodore Robert Bundy was an American serial killer, kidnapper, rapist, burglar, and necrophile who assaulted and murdered about 50 young women during the 1970s and possibly earlier. Bundy was born in Burlington, Vermont on November 24, 1946, starting life as his mother's secret shame. Eleanor Cowell was 22 years old and unmarried when she had her son Theodore, which humiliated her deeply religious parents. She delivered the child at a home for unwed mothers in Vermont and later brought her son to her parents in Philadelphia. To hide the fact he was an illegitimate child, Bundy was raised as the adopted son of his grandparents and was told that his mother was his sister. Eleanor moved with Ted to Tacoma, Washington, a few years later. In 1951, she married Johnnie Bundy and the couple had several children …show more content…
The following year, he was pulled over by the police. A search of his vehicle uncovered a cache of burglary tools—a crowbar, a face mask, rope and handcuffs. He was arrested for possession of these tools and the police began to link him to much more sinister crimes. In 1975, Bundy was arrested in the kidnapping of Carol DaRonch, one of the few women to escape his clutches. He was convicted and received a one-to-15-year jail sentence. Two years later, Bundy was indicted on murder charges for the death of a young Colorado woman. He decided to act as his own lawyer in this case. During a trip to the courthouse library, Bundy jumped out a window and made his first escape. He was captured eight days later. In December 1977, Bundy escaped from custody again. He climbed out of a hole he made in the ceiling of his cell, having dropped more than 30 pounds to fit through the small opening. Authorities did not discover that Bundy was missing for 15 hours, giving the serial killer a big head start on the police. He eventually made his way to Tallahassee,

The Murder of Ron Goldman Stabbed almost twenty-two times on the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and thigh, Ron Goldman suffered a terrible death. After befriending and delivering the glasses that Nicole Simpson’s mother had forgot, he was unprepared for his demise. I have a slight idea on who it could be although, he may not be the only one. Due to the resources I have looked into, there is much more evidence to look for, it may have been famous football star, O.J. Simpson.
Some of the members included Robert Keppel and Dave Reichert, who also would come in and interview Ted Bundy while he was in jail. Bundy gave plenty of insight of the minds of serial killers and suggested that Gary was most likey revisiting the dump sites to have sex with his victims, which turned out to be true later on. Gary was arrested in 1982 and 2001 on charges related to prostitution so that made him a key suspect in the Green River killings. On November 30, 2001, Gary was at work where the police came and arrested him. He was arrested on suspicion of murdering four women nearly 20 years earlier.
Henry lee Lucas, was born on August 26, 1936 in Blacksburg Virginia. He died from a heart condition in 2001. Lucas confessed to killing hundreds of people, but the evidence only links him to two murders. The only two murders that he was linked to was the murder of his mother when he was 24- years-old, and the other murder was the murder of Kate Rich, she was an older woman he used to work for. While he was in prison a lot of movies and tv shows were made about lucas, like the movie a documentary from 1995 called “Henry Lee Lucas.”

Ted Bundy Theodore Bundy was an American serial killer, kidnapper , rapist, burglar, and necrophile who assaulted and murdered numerous young women and girls during the 1970’s. Upon being born November 24th 1946 in Burlington Vermont, Bundy was taken care of by his grandfather for 3 years, who was very violent. He was told that his mother was his sister for a long time, and did not know the truth until he was about 20.
In fact, Bundy wasn’t extremely intelligent, and was not a genius, he only had an IQ of about 124, and he was not wildly successful in school, he was an average student who actually failed out of college after being dumped by a girlfriend, though he did return to school at a later date and finish (Michaud & Aynesworth, 2000). Even so, there was something that everyone could agree upon, Theodore Bundy was a deranged sociopath who became famous for murdering all of his victims, he was one of the serial killers to become extremely famous because of his killings, and some would say that he seemed happy to be getting all of the recognition (Michaud & Aynesworth, 2000). With articles written about him titled, “Bundy: The Man, The Myth, The Legend” he had truly become a legend (Caputi, 1989). These are only a few examples of how the media portrayed Bundy and how that caused the public to see and talk about

As you may already know, the verdict for the trial of the century was not guilty to the charge of double homicide. The verdict was released on October 3rd, 1995 at the Los Angeles County Superior Court. This essay is about the modern day events of the O.J trial. Orenthal James Simpson was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 1969. He was drafted in the first round as the first pick.
His offenses grew dramatically, coming in a string of bank robberies from Rhode Island to Indiana. In June of 1956, he was sentenced to twenty-five years in the federal prison. He only ended up serving nine years of the twenty-five year sentence. He served his sentence in Atlanta, Alcatraz, and in Leavenworth. After his sentence he returned to Boston to resume his life of crime.
Bundy appears to meet several of the criteria required to be diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder. The DSM- IV defines antisocial personality disorder as the pervasive, inflexible, and enduring pattern of disregarding and violating the rights of others (APA, 2013). In order to be diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder, the individual must have at least three of the criteria listed in the DSM-IV. Bundy indicated to fit eight out of the possible ten criteria to be diagnosed which will discussed in the following paragraphs of the paper. Bundy’s actions falls under the definition of antisocial personality disorder due to the fact he had a complete disregard towards the rights of
Theodore Robert Bundy was an American serial killer, kidnapper, rapist, and necrophile who battered and murdered an abundance of young women and girls during the 1970s and earlier. Shortly before his implementation, after more than a decade of disavowals, he confessed to thirty homicides committed in seven states between 1974 and 1978. The true victim count remains unknown, and many believe that it is much higher. Bundy was observed as handsome and charismatic by his young female victims, traits he exploited to win their trust. He typically contacted them in public places, feigning injury or disability, before overshadowing and assaulting them at locations that were more isolated.
Last night, former Portland banker, Andy Dufresne, an allegedly innocent man accused of murdering his wife and her lover successfully planned and executed and elaborate escape from maximum security Shawshank State Penitentiary via underground tunnels. Outsmarting prisons guards and the Warden, Dufresne tunneled his way to freedom. Andy Dufresne, from Portland, Maine, was serving two consecutive life sentences after being erroneously convicted of double murder of his wife and her lover 20 years ago, since 1947. Corrections authorities have confirmed that Dufresne, was found missing from his jail cell this morning. Guards claim Mr. Dufresne had simply “disappeared.”
