Have you ever heard about Otzi the IceMan? Otzi the IceMan was a person that was alive over 5,000 years ago. Some things you learn in this essay is about some theories about what caused his death and his last meals. Some things that are interesting but will not be included are he has living relatives, and he had anatomical abnormalities. Now let’s get started.
First, let 's talk about some theories about what caused his death. One theory suggests that Otzi froze to death peacefully, but that theory was discarded because they found an arrowhead stuck in his left shoulder and he couldn 't have frozen peacefully. Another theory suggests that Otzi was killed by another shepherd for a bigger flock of sheep and he got shot with an arrow. This
Perhaps the most common is the belief that Ötzi was fleeing from a battle when he was shot in the back by an enemy. There are several facts that discredit that theory. One is that after he was shot, Ötzi was hit in the head. Any enemy close enough to knock Ötzi in the head would also have taken his copper axe to use in the battle. This would not have been the case if Ötzi was not alone when he died, but fighting in a skirmish, or small fight.
The “Black Blizzard” from Scholastic Scope is about how a major drought caused a horrible disaster in the middle of the U.S.A. When all of this happened, thousands of animals and people died of suffocation when a 7,000 foot tall wave devoured the area. After that, all of the other stuff just went down hill. All of the crops died because of the major drought, farmers lost money and couldn’t afford their houses they lived in, and they couldn’t care for their family. Then another storm hit and scooped up all of the dead crops and the soil that the crops were in.
These included a dagger, a fire-starting kit, half-built arrows, and a bow. Most interesting of all the items that were found around him was a copper axe. This item leads historians and researchers to believe that he was some sort of figure of importance, such as a shaman or leader, during his time alive. It has also been discovered that Ötzi is covered in ink. Just over 60 tattoos have been found on his body, and are believed to have been used as some sort of pain therapy.
BLACK ICE: A VOICE FOR THE BLACK ABSTRACT: A lecturer in creative writing, Lorene Cary wrote Black Ice in 1991 to commemorate her adolescent years spent in Saint Paul’s school in New Hampshire. In this cheerful autobiography we hear the chirpy voice of a Black woman whose frolicsome nature and flair for life is the literary equivalent of playful sunshine on black ice. Her spirited reminiscence show how today Black American woman have sloughed off the sapping memories of the bygone years and can revel unpretentiously in the choices they make and the effort they put in to make life meaningful.
Boudicca was the Celtic queen of the Iceni tribe in modern day East Anglia and an important figure in Britain’s conflict against the Romans in 60 AD. Most of the records about her life come from The Tanals, written only fifty years after the events had taken place, by the historian and senator of the Roman empire Cornelius Tacitus. Lucius Dio Cassius, a Roman consul and historian, also provided information about her as an eyewitness to her triumphs. These two writers presented her as a tall woman with fiery red hair and a fierce, almost terrifying, appearance. They were deeply influenced by her bravery in going against the humiliation brought upon her people, who considered her their natural leader.
In conclusion, it seems obvious that that there was foul play involved in the slaughter of Ötzi. The evidence also suggests that a fellow clansman was the killer. Further evidence was the copper axe, Ötzi’s symbol of status to be coveted, the similar arrowheads of Ötzi and his killer along with the skill of the archer, and the cave art depicting the dirty deed. Ötzi was clearly killed by a skilled assassin of malintent.
Achebe writes, “ Okonkwo drew his machete and cut him down. He was afraid of being thought weak” (Achebe 63). Many other members of the tribe would have let their son be killed because of the unwavering faith many have in their religion and the decisions of the elders. However, not many would do it themselves. This scene truly showcases Okonkwo’s fears.

Queen Elsa The Disney movie, Frozen is the story of two sisters, one of whom was born with magical powers of ice and snow, trying to save their kingdom. Like with most fictional Disney characters, Queen Elsa’s, powers are both a gift and a curse, and they are the epitome of Elsa’s being; without her “gift” she would not be the character that represents the overall theme of overcoming such intrapersonal turmoil. Of the six domains of knowledge discussed in personality psychology, Elsa’s personality in the first half of the film (until she runs away to the mountains) can best be described in terms of dispositions which remain consistent, and social/cultural adaptations from living in Arendelle, Norway in the mid-19th century. Queen Elsa’s
King Tut has died a mysterious death. There are three theories I believed that have caused King Tut’s death. One theory was murder, I think he might have been murder by Aye and Horemheb. Another theory was an illness. The third theory was a chariot crash.

Okonkwo killed himself because he knew that he couldn 't beat this new Christian culture that was rising rapidly within his village. The realization of the new culture undermining the manly clan and himself caused a shift in Okonkwo as seen in chapter 21 when he "mourned for the clan, which he saw breaking up and falling apart… who had so unaccountably become soft like women", yet according to the book Okonkwo had never ushered a tear before. Okonkwo came to a devastating reality that he couldn 't defeat his enemies and if you cannot defeat your enemies you are seen as weak according to the ways of the village. Thus the internal conflict that he was going to be like his father proved dominant. To know that all the work and sacrifices he made to be as manly as he possibly can be was being diminished by these 'weak ' white men was enough to drive him to
