1. Introduction: Thesis statement: Although sports heroes today are guilty of inappropriate and sometimes criminal conduct, in reality, their behavior is no different from heroes of a generation ago. Athletes are supposed to set a good example for kids and other athletes who look up to them. If a sports hero is breaking rules, violating the law and doing inappropriate acts. In my opinion it could take away the value of the people who look up to them. A. Athletes that set good example for younger athletes can lead those looking up to them in a great path. 1.
