Throwing Machines Throwing machine is an electric outdoor mechanic machine that throw many kind of balls in different shapes and volumes. Designed to throw balls for training players and help the couch. There are many strategies to throw the ball but all of them depend on mechanical movement. A ball can be thrown by two tires spanning in different direction or it can be thrown by a pump and air pressure or it can be throw like Mangonel with spring and rod arm. The one disused in this proposal is the one with two tires because it is the most common one in sport world, can be full automatic by using some micro-controllers like Raspberry Pi or Arduino, different speeds can be set from voltage variation device that supply the motor with electricity, can be fixed in the ground with flexible legs, the throwing angle can be modified precisely in different ways, a remote control can be made for it, and portable. The machine contents from different parts and …show more content…
Auto Desk simulation program or other CFD program can be used for mechanical simulation. Proteus simulator or other software can be used to simulate the electronic side of the project. The simulation will help to build clear strong plan. After simulation, micro-controller with its electronic component will be attached to the throwing machine. The device should work in a proper way with wired controller at the beginning. Next, the micro-controller will be controlled from the computer to check that the circuit and components work fine. After all the testing and checking, a wireless module will be attached in the device to be controlled wirelessly from the computer. After success connection, friendly interface (computer program) should be programmed to control the deceive easily. A program can be programmed by using Microsoft visual basic or other programming language that is compatible with the
A basket toss in cheerleading is a skill that is required in every routine taken to competition, it is a checkmark on the score sheet. A basket toss is when you have two bases, a back and a flyer, and sometimes a front. The side bases main job is to make sure they use the most force and proper technique possible to throw the flyer into the air. The backs main job is to guide the flyer through the right path in the air so he/she does not go flying forward or backwards, the front also does the same. The flyers job is to stay super tight in the air by squeezing their bum cheeks together and flexing their abs.
PDA Palm Z22 handheld PDA Windows mobile ,Wi-Fi, Expandable memory ,QWERTY keyboard, portable. Interconnection devices 1.interconnection devices allow connection between devices examples of these are such as router, switch, wireless access points. 2.A wireless repeater resends a signal when it is received to increase the wireless signals reach. 3.A hub receives data and transmits it to all connected PCs but a switch stores the mac address for all connected pcs so will only transmit to specific PCs not all that are connected. 4.a network bridge connects two or more networks together and is similar to a switch because it sends the correct information to each connected pc .it can be hardware or software.
Summary of “Forces on a baseball” by NASA.gov The article, “Forces on a baseball,” by NASA.gov, presents the facts on what makes a baseball fly threw the air a baseball. NASA.gov presents readers with the facts and breakdown drag, lift and weight, while explaining the air and temperature can affect how high and far the ball goes. The article references Newton’s first law of motion, “According to Newton's first law of motion, a moving baseball will keep moving in a straight line unless it is affected by another force.” As the article concludes, the author highlights that if the ball is perfectly round and smooth, its center of pressure will be exactly in the middle point.
This is the title that I would have given this book. The book Million Dollar Throw by Mike Lupica is an adventure/suspense book. This book is set in modern time in a town called Valley, Massachusetts. It is around the time of summer.
Coaching the Second Base Position – 1 The second baseman on any team, whether in Major League Baseball or in Little League, needs to be a dependable and reliable member of the infield. It is important to remember when coaching this position to stress fundamentals and smart positional play. Fielding the Second Base Position – 2 Infield Stance -- 2 Just like with any infielder, being ready to field your position is vital for success and error free play. A second baseman should be ready to go in any direction before the pitch is even thrown.
The specific motion used for this analysis is a baseball pitch by Jake Arrieta who plays for the Chicago Cubs (https://giant.gfycat.com/BelatedWeirdKookaburra.gif). His characteristics: male, height is six foot four inches, weighs 225 pounds, pitches and bats with right hand, age is 30 years old, and has been playing for seven years. In order to produce enough force, the pitch has to go through multiple phases in order to generate it.
The controller divides into two components: estimation algorithm which tracks the physical state and control algorithm which deals with the given current estimate. According to Figure 2, A1 and A3 are deception attacks where it sends false data which includes incorrect time, incorrect measurement or incorrect sender id. The adversary can send the data through a secret key or by compromising
My personal Artifact is a baseball my son and I caught at the Giants game. It is white, round, has red stitches, and is smooth when new, but when we caught it it was beat up and the blue writing on it was smeared. A baseball is small and light in size. It can be thrown at speeds up to 100 MPH, or hit at at speeds higher than 100MPH, so when playing the game or watching you should be paying attention at all times. A baseball is made of a rubber or cork center, wrapped in yarn very tight, covered by white leather with red stitching around the out side, making it a very hard ball.
It doesn’t really matter on what type of ball, physically, it mostly points to whether you’re strong enough to survive this elimination game of
PURPOSE The goal of this lab was to build a mousetrap powered car. The mousetrap car needed to travel fifteen feet. The purpose of building these mousetrap cars was to demonstrate our knowledge of motion, friction, force, distance, and energy. We have studied these concepts, and each one is a factor in the success of a mousetrap car.
The current design has a Microblaze processor accompanied by multiple programmable hardware packet drivers. Each of these drivers contain a small buffer to hold one packet and it transmits this packet to the switch interface at the programmed rate. The processor writes a packet in to the buffer, sets the rate and sets the control to start the driver. Similarly, the processor can set the control to stop the driver as well. Figure 3.6 shows the complete design.
In conclusion, air pressure has a direct influence on the distance that the ball will travel when thrown. The hypothesis stated that if pressure is added to the football, then the distance the ball projects will increase when distance is a function of pressure. Based on the data that was collected from the experiment, the hypothesis was supported. When the football had more air inside, it went the farthest distance compared to the other two pressures that data was collected from.
This ball is designed for more advanced bowlers. The particle proactive is “like a snow tire with chains”.(4) It has a bumpy surface so it can dig into the lane. It makes the most friction or all. If you are an advanced bowler or a pro bowler you need one of these in your arsenal of bowling balls.
CHAPTER: (1) Introduction 1.1 Problem Summary and Introduction: The goal for our group is to design a ping pong ball launcher. The launcher needs to be scheduled to launch one solo ping pong ball one at a time over a set obstacle and into a bucket of a chosen diameter. The determination is for the launcher to have the capability to launch five ping pong balls one at a time into the container within one minute, having none of the ping pong balls bounce out or miss the bucket. The launcher can be made out of any matter preferred and can launch the ping pong ball in any anticipated way, except by explosion.
Anything that has motion involved is kinetic energy. The motion can be able to produce kinetic energy. An object that is moving can be able to do work with anything it hits. The conclusion of its motion is the amount of work being done. Kinetic energy can be passed from one object to another by clashing towards each other.
