Tibby doesn’t get friendly with Bailey at once as she is not used of new things or persons. Bailey on the other hand makes Tibby realize how lucky she is to have such friends and such good health. Lena is the most beautiful among all, she is very confused to open up. For Lena, friendship reminds her of who she is inside as her friends know her inner and outer self. She always saw the good in whatever situation and turned it around. While Jeannette took the time to question almost anything, she also took the time to understand the beauty of everything. This quite perfectly foreshadows the ending to her book. Throughout The Glass Castle Jeannette is facing a battle of creating a pleasant outcomes for each and every tribulation she faces, trudging through the miserable times, but she always wonders what the point of that is if she is just going to end up disappointed again. Andrea grew up with loving parents, she got good grades, and she was liked by everybody, and had a career going for her as a nurse. is a very happy loving girl, who always comes into the center ready to work. From my perspective, she has been dealing with her transition real well, considering that everything seemed alright, until we told her dinner would be taken home. When working with her I tried to get her to open up a little, without bringing the subject up. I wanted her to tell me about it, rather than me asking. Her transition is hard to deal with, especially as a child because there’s not much she could do.
