The American film director Tim burton has impacted the world, by creating phenomenal childlike movies with a dark twist. He is best known for focusing on the evil villains rather than putting aside the creepy elements. Burton works with Johnny Depp repeatedly, he's become a close friend with Johnny ever since the first film they made together, Edward Scissorhands. Danny Elfman is also a good friend of Tim, he normally composes music for all Tim Burton's films that he has directed. Tim has repeatedly knocked off the scores for highest rating with Edward Scissorhands , Charlie and the chocolate factory in 2005, and as well as Alice in wonderland in 2010. Johnny Depp is also featured in the film as Willy Wonka. Something to remember is that he used diegetic sounds 89% of the movie. Meaning that he uses sounds that the cast/characters were able to hear in the process within the making the movie. Most of the times many directors use non-diegetic sound sounds that the characters aren't able to hear but after the movie is edited, the sound is put in to cause that special effect that is needed. In a particular scene where Augustus Gloop fell into the chocolate mixture river, the Oompa Loompas came out and sang live without no track. Tim Burton wanted to cast one Oompa to play all Loompas. Based on a video The Willy Wonka , Tim Burton said that Depp had the longest hours rehearsing the dances and singing the songs over and over again. Burton used diegetic sound to create something original and that most directors don't take a chance. This creation caused the whole film to take another lever of awesomeness, the audience notice that the Oompa Loompas were dancing symmetrically and singing as well.
