For my Time Management Calendar, I chose that basic chart method. I wasn’t really surprised with how much time I had left in my day because I don’t have too much going on in my life. I’m a stay at home Mom, I try to plan things so that I’m not just sitting at home doing nothing. With so little things I have going on every day, it’s pretty easy for me to plan when to do work assignments. Depending on if I’m going out with my boyfriend and some friends I’ll do all my assignments during the week and leave maybe 2 assignments for the weekend. If I’m not going out, I like to save my assignments for the weekend since I’m usually at home bored because it gives me something to do. If I were working at my old job and doing what I used to do, I would be running around like a chicken with no head. It would be very stressful working from the afternoon to almost midnight and then coming home exhausted I’m very much happy with how things are now. Knowing that every week I don’t have to rush to do my assignments because of other engagements is such a great feeling. I can go to the gym for two hours, take my son to a Gymboree class, or just take him outside for most of the day and still come home and be able to deal with school in no rush my schedule has worked out pretty good for me so far. I do plan on taking more classes so we will see if things change or stay the same. The one thing that hasn’t gone so well that I am still working on is doing assignments that tend to take longer than I expected on the night the assignment is due. All the time I have to do it sometimes I don’t know what to talk about, but every time I do it the day it’s due it’s like light clicks on and so many ideas just start coming out and the words are just flowing
