For drama we had to analyse a scene from either Titanic, The Great Dictator or The Grand Budapest Hotel. When we have chosen the scene, you have to analyse the scene in how status is used. I 'm going to focus on the Titanic. The reason I 'm choosing this film is because Leonardo diCaprio, the Titanic itself and the awesome scenes that are shot. The quality is pretty good. I 'm focusing on one scene so that I can really can get all the things from there. As I 'm focusing particularly on Status, I 'm choosing a scene where it 's there. Jack responds with an approving mmm. After that, Rose 's mom addresses him again, and Jack waits a considerable time before answering. This shows that he is still nervous around them, even if he 's not showing it. It shows that the family of Rose still has a higher status, both real and socially. We can see that another family member of Rose makes a face that she doesn 't really approve. She doesn 't know what to with the information she gets, so she just stays silent and silently disapproves a bit. After that, Jack is talking again. He has grown confidence again, and highers his real status again. He talks about himself, about that he has everything that he needs. Air and a sketch pad. That shows that the real status of Jack is the same as the real status of the family of Rose. Also, Jack gets some more champagne, so that also shows he feels comfortable with being in first class.
