We are a diverse group of people who build this nation from the ground up, literally. That does not mean that it has not come without hardships, but it does show that we are able to persevere through anything that another country may throw towards us. Whitman knew that when this country was built, we were a very religious based people. He was the first to question that after 200 years of living in this nation. He said, “And I say
However, with my platoon mates pushing on one another, I was also motivated to strive harder and push on to complete the Route March. When I stepped into the parade square after the last 3km, I felt very contented. I hope that the 24km Route March on 10/11/2015 would go very smoothly like the 16km Route March with nobody falling out. And I hope that everyone would be at the floating platform for our POP! Never did I actually think that the 17 weeks would pass by in a blink of an eye and I would say that I actually enjoyed the whole of BMT and the PTP, together with my buddies, section mates, platoon mates, company mates and last but not least, Leopard Company Commanders.

Warrant officers are the leaders of their field and experts in their trade. As such, they must be reliable, technically and tactically proficient, quick learners, and self-motivated, traits I already possess. I believe I have the necessary skills, experience, and leadership abilities to be a great asset to the Army as a Warrant Officer. I have more experience and training than most of my peers considering warrant officer as their next step. I have proven to be a dependable, capable, driven and a proactive non-commissioned officer throughout my career and have always sought out positions of higher responsibility.
The Disciple Paul-the transformed fanatic, enthused writer, astonishing educator, and persistent guide towards Christianity is the most astonishing figure in the Biblical history right after the Jesus Christ. This massive character treaded confidently onto the phase of the first-century world, particularly the Asian world and left a permanent mark of immense magnitude that can never be forgotten. Having an outstanding life and impressive ministry when bestowed with Discipleship by Holy Christ on the road to Damascus; in his own explanation he was "the chief of all sinners." Not a single individual in the biblical historical accounts, beside Christ Himself, had a more powerful impact on the world that was even previously unknown to Paul himself-the
Graduation Speech Welcome to our graduation ceremony of 1940. It 's an accolade and a privilege to be graduating, I verbally express it’s a privilege because that 's what it is. As Nelson Mandela verbally expressed, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. We wouldn 't be where we all are today without an education. We always want to be thankful we got the chance to get an education because most everybody who is prosperous has an education.
They described Beowulf in the story as a perfect hero. He was strong, and outstanding fighter and very loyal to all who came into his presence. However, the novel not only introduced the sorrows brought on by war, but it emphasized the importance of life when Kien realizes his life has meaning and when he realizes life is too short and precious to have not made a close relationship with his parents. Kien’s soul was happy to write all of his stories which focused on “his love, his friendship, his comradeship, those human bonds” (233) that helped him and his generation overcome the thousands of sufferings of the
A Man’s Courage The dictionary defines courage as having strength in the face of pain or grief. Although that does not mean it is everyone’s definition. Courage is something that will always be there, it is up to someone who is motivated enough to dig down and find it in themselves to help them face the situation that they are in. It can be more difficult to find it for some and easier for others, but it will always be available when it is needed. In Tim O’Brien’s book The Things They Carried he brings you into his life leading up to and through fighting in the Vietnam War.
It has instilled discipline, respect, and honesty in today 's, yesterday 's, and tomorrow 's youth. From my personal experience I have felt welcome and felt encouraged to be a better person than I ever thought possible. As have the past, present, and future cadets. The goals are the most simple yet the most complex in any one of my classes! The program has made me, along with countless others, very proud to be in it.
President Abraham Lincoln was the best president between the three presidents. This is because he brought the nation through a very difficult time and managed to restore our nation to its fullest ability. "It was Lincoln 's leadership, his commitment to values, and his strong moral fiber that made it possible for America to find its way through the Civil War, and then to begin the healing process that would eventually lead the nation back to unity once again". I agree wiith this statement because not only did Lincoln return the nation back to unity but he also make huge changes that made the nation grow. He faced every challenge that crossed him and he not only defeated the challenges he helped the nation become bigger and better as a whole.
In The Killer Angles, a strong leader during the American Civil War named Joshua Chamberlain was considered one of the most heroic generals for the Union Army. As I read the novel I cherish Chamberlain because he performs my leadership and thoughts of how I inspire people to recover. It is apparent that Chamberlain does not lack charisma and loyalty toward his soldiers. The leader must show he understands and fulfills the needs of his soldiers. For example, Chamberlain’s men understood he couldn’t control having to continue their march after a long day, but he showed he was willing to suffer along with them.
The United States has had very many heros that served as our presient. Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and George Washington are all heros and were a very important part of our society. They all did everything they could do to make this world a better place, yet they all had their differences in going about doing it. But i will have to say that the strongest president was Thomas Jefferson. Thomas was one of the smartest men to live and not only was he very smart but he had a desire to constantly learn new things.
