It is proven that racial prejudice has the greatest negative effect on society as it hurts people and makes them feel completely unwanted. In To Kill A Mocking Bird by Harper Lee, racial prejudice has the greatest negative effect on its victims just as it did to Tom Robinson and Calpurnia. There are different types of prejudice portrayed in this novel, but racial prejudice has made the greatest effect. It ultimately lowered all of its victim’s self-esteem. Along with making their life seem less valuable in their own eyes. Throughout this novel, there are three different types of prejudice portrayed but racial prejudice has found a way to affect its victims in the worst ways.
