9/11: The Day That Changed America Forever On September 11, 2001, nineteen terrorists boarded four planes, all transcontinental flights full of jet fuel. 9/11 became the first of many hijackings in the United States. The terrorists turned two flights into flying weapons of destruction, knocking down America’s tallest buildings. The third plane rammed into the Pentagon and the fourth plane was crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. 9/11 became the day that a tragic event killed thousands, injured hundreds and changed America forever.
The morning of Tuesday September 11, 2011 is one of the biggest tradgies of all time. On this specific day four airlines were hijacked by an Islamic group that goes by the name al-Qaeda. The attacks took the lives of 2,996 innocent people, injured nearly 6,000 people, and caused at least $10 billion in infracture and property damage. These attacks, also known as the 9/11 attacks, will forever be remebered as one of the most horrific days for so many people around this world. Initally, al-Qaeda considered targeting nuclear power plants on 9/11, but decided to go against it because they feared it would get too out of control.
7 The Night Stalker Thestar.com Richard Ram was known as the Night Stalker and during his 8 month killing spree during the 1980’s he killed 14 victims. The self-proclaimed Satanist broke into homes, burgalured, raped, and killed, and once captured seemed to enjoy the publicity and media attention. And his crimes attracted a lot of attention. On the first day of his trial he entered the courtroom, held out his hand, which had a pentagram drawn on it, and shouted, “Hail Satan!” He never expressed any type of guilt or remorse for his crimes. After being found guilty on 13 counts of murder, 5 attempted murders, 11 sexual assaults and 14 burglaries, he was sentenced to death.
Al Qaeda terrorists hijacked four planes. Two of the planes (American airline flight 11 and united airlines flight 175) Crashed into the north and south towers of world trade center in New York City. One hour and 42 minutes after the crash of the planes both 110 stories towers collapsed resulting fire and the collapsing and damage to the other towers. Including the seven world trade center tower which has 47 stories. It is almost sixteen years since that fear was imposed on us and the age of terror began in earnest.
In the first few days, casualties occurred when a U.S. Navy SEAL fell off a chinook helicopter after the helicopter took fire, and had no choice but to land to a farther landing zone. This resulted in a rescue attempt by another chinook to insert a Quick Reactionary Force (QRF) of Rangers in which they also suffered casualties in the successful extraction of the U.S. Navy
Tragedy, and burning flames. Everybody remembers 9/11, and the day the twin towers collapsed into shreds. Bombers in hijacked planes, millions injured, and thousands dead enduringly. The beginning of the ending, 250 people on 4 hijacked planes that changed America forever. Nobody knew, it was a rude awakening.
Former NFL superstar tight end Aaron Hernandez was convicted of executing a man. He killed him with six bullets inside an industrial park, he and was sentenced to life in prison (“Aaron Hernandez’s”). Concussions are a scary reality of playing National Football League (NFL). Every year there are more and more players that are having season ending, or career ending injuries due to hits to the head. There have been many NFL players that have had serious issues due to concussions.
On March 12, 1977 Romero “woke up” to the unstable and corrupt political entities when Father Rutilio was assassinated along with another man and child. The reason for his murder, performed by the military police, was due to the accusation of being a communist (which is false). Wealthy members of in El Salvador were abusing and misusing the money, their political influence, weapons, and the immense power they held. Prior to Father Grande’s assassination, Romero believed that there was no corruption, and that the Church should remain neutral in matters concerning politics. Hill states, “He may have hoped that the violence and oppression was coming from mavericks and renegades, whom the government would eventually bring under control...Grande had been cut down along with two innocent people by the military police” (Hill 168-9).
The fact that Macbeth had committed treason by killing Duncan fed his paranoia and could only ensure his safety by more action. Macbeth was aware that Banquo could suspect him of committing this crime and could not afford to let him be which lead only to one conclusion, the death of him and his family. In this way Macbeth takes on a more tyrannical view towards those he believes might succeed or even kill him. Gatsby had the money that he needed to win daisy over with al of the lavish parties and having his mansion, and as he uses nick to follow daisy and reconnect with her, Gatsby comes to the realisation that daisy does have someone else and their connection is foreign to him. Gatsby had left for the longest time with the intention of coming back and winning her over with all of the money that he had forged and this fake made up life that he had created for himself, throwing lavish parties and had a no invitation policy among the residents of east and west egg.
Costa come to see Noelle in jail, telling that he hated her when he found out about their affair, but realizes that he loves her and tells her that he will use his power to get her out. On the last day of the trial, Costa 's lawyer, Napoleon Chotas, informs Larry, Noelle, and Larry 's lawyer about a agreement Costa had made with the court: if they beg guilty, Larry will be sent back to America to serve three months in jail and will not be able to come back to Greece while Noelle 's passport will be taken from her, and she will live in Costa 's villa. They agree to plead guilty. However, they realize that they are tricked when the judge acknowledges that the case against them was frail because the body was never found, and that they would have been free if they pleaded not guilty. They are sentenced to death, and as Noelle walks out, she sees Costa looking happy.

Robert Rodgers is discreet when he acts as a spectator when Abraham shoots Easton. He then, sneaks up on Abraham and suffocates him from behind.

More than 1,000 people died in New York and DC when the terrorist attacked, many of the victims were the firefighters, police, and paramedics responded to this event. There were four hijackers who were involved in this event. They flew the planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon as a part of their suicide mission. As the two planes hit the north and south tower in NY, a plane attempted to hit the Pentagon in DC, the result of the terrorists actions that day were that many families lost loved ones (9/11 Facts).
Boss Tweed was very cruel and corrupt. He was extremely self centered and only cared about himself and his money. In 1860, not being a lawyer, he opened a law office. While running the law office, he collected large amounts of money for legal services. These “legal services” were fake and he was collecting the money illegally.12 While Boss Tweed was talking to Allison, he tried to get her to join him on his mission to try and take over the New York City.
