The Trobriand Islands are known today as the Kiriwina Islands, which are 170 miles of coral atolls off the eastern coast of New Guinea. The average population on the main island, Kiriwina is about 12,000 indigenous inhabitants, who are called Trobrianders. The people who live in the traditional settlements are subsistence farmers who use the form of agriculture in which a portion of land produces enough food for the family or a smaller community. The social structure of the Trobrianders is a matriarchy community, which indicates that the women hold the power instead of the men. The warfare within the Trobrianders was radical until colonial rules forbidden the act, which lead to the introduction to an aggressive form of cricket.
The Laframboise Island Nature Area is filled with trees and meadows, which is home to numerous species of birds. You guys are probably wondering who made up the word ‘Laframboise’. Joseph Laframboise built the island in 1804. Laframboise Island is also called “Bad Humor” island since Clark said, “I call this Island ‘bad humored’ Island as we were in a bad humor". Brom Island Brom 's Island is based off entirely off of my own dreams, ideas and visions of reality of my day to day life. This island is an existing planet far beyond space and time. I will give a brief summary a little about my island; It started in 2014 around October when I was having more vivid dreams. I was able to control them better then I have during my 18 years living on this earth.
After landing in the island of Oahu, the first impression we had was that the island looked like paradise. Perhaps even the paradise where Adam and Eve lived, after the world was created. The green environment was very exquisite. Coconut trees and palm trees adorned the city of Honolulu. It was beautiful to see how the green grass moved side to side as the wind blew.
