The usage and architecture of the Tower of London has allowed it to become known as a powerful building in history. The Tower can be viewed as regal yet hunting, due to its complex past. The many centuries of use has allowed the Tower of London to mold itself into the fascinating building it has become today. The Tower of London has served as a royal residence, prison and location of Crowned Jewels making it one of the most significant buildings in history.

Although it is no longer a royal residence, the Tower officially remains a royal palace, and as such, maintains a permanent Guard, part of the unit forming the Queen 's Guard at Buckingham Palace. The palace took twenty-seven years to build but this was important for France because of its many uses. This palace had many purposes, one of them being the center of government. Louis centralizing the government gave him more control over it and made it more organized. Because Paris was constantly being attacked, they purposely built it a safe distance from the city. As well as setting this palace as the center of France, Louis also invited playwrights, poets, and artists to come to this palace in order to create a center of culture for the country.

At 9.30 am in morning Abby Borden was killed by 19 hits, with an ax to shoulder and to the head (Lizzie Borden). As follow, Andrew Borden is also murder on a couch with 11 hits with an ax to the head at 11 am. The only suspect at the time of the murder was the daughter of Andrew Borden himself, Lizzie Borden who had claimed that she had found her father lying dead on a couch in the sitting room. But everyone know there is more to the story than Lizzie Borden suspicious testimony, but no one knows what happened on that tragic morning of Fall River Massachusetts and whether or not Lizzie Borden was the murder.

The old bell tower or the south tower and the new bell tower or the north tower. The old bell tower was built in 1170 and this tower is more Romanesque than it is Gothic. It being part of the old church that did not burn down it carries little decoration leaving it looking plain it also seems to be shorter but wider. The new bell tower is more Gothic style. It was built in the 16th century.

The masterpiece of the iron gates towards the tower was created with wings and exotic zoomorphic pieces that included wings and wing-like art forms. The Tower also has a sundial fixated on it, made from bronze and molded into a snake. As the sun moves from east to west it presents time on the 12 zodiac symbols used to mark the hour. The tower was designed at to be capture by the pond in it’s entirely through its reflection.

Although it was prevented by an anonymous letter written to the authorities alerting them about the plot, Guy Fawkes was caught with the gunpowder barrels by the Parliament guards and arrested. Several perpetrators tried to make a stand by chasing after the High Sheriff of Worcester and other members of the police, ending up in a shootout. Eight of the survivors of the plot were sentenced to death, by hanging, drawing, and quartering.
A golden age is a period of time when an empire thrives. It thrives socially, economically, and politically. Both Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome experienced a golden age. Ancient Rome’s Golden Age was called the Pax Romana. Pax Romana means “roman peace”.
A short story "The Bell-Tower" written by Herman Melville tells about the architect Bannadonna, who is building a tower with a bell for the city. Bannadonna is an ingenious architect who does not count on human sacrifices, extolling his creations over the rest. In this story, the author sought to show the image of a man of art, for which the recognition of his genius is the principal goal. One of the themes that the author raises in "The Bell-Tower" is the relationship between a man of art and his creation.
