2.3.1 The translation variation theory and tourism translation In the article “The Translation Variation Theory-oriented Tourism Translation Strategies from Chinese to English”, Zhang Yange (2007:67) points out that the tourism translation from Chinese to English is not only one kind of cultural translation, but also a kind of trans-cultural communicating activity. Due to the great cultural differences between Eastern countries and Western countries, especially the different characteristics between Chinese and English in tourism texts, it is difficult for us to do the translation from Chinese to English in tourism translation. The formulation of the theory of translation variation (bianyi, 变译) by Professor Huang Zhonglian (2002) frees us from the traditional translation concept of full translation. The comprehensive application of different methods of editing-translating (i.e. transediting) in the translation variation theory provides tourism translation from Chinese to English with an effective method. The article gives the reason why we should use methods of translation variation in the process of translating tourism texts and discusses how we can use them from two aspects. One aspect is about the difference between English and Chinese tourism texts and the other is about the strategies for tourism translation from Chinese to English under the guidance of the translation variation theory. And he puts emphasis on the second aspect, putting forward the method of word-order

Translation is a complicated task, during which the meaning of the source-language text should be conveyed to the target-language readers. In other words, translation can be defined as encoding the meaning and form in the target language by means of the decoded meaning and form of the source language. Nevertheless, there occur some mistranslations in the poetry translation which fail to convey the exact meaning of the poet to readers and destroy the beauty of the poem. The image is an essential part of a poem, which perfectly conveys to the readers what the poet feels. Thus how to reconstruct the image becomes a common concern.
But the Chinese people are modest, they often derogatory themselves and somone or something that associated with. We often deny the fact of praise, in order to show our modesty and respect for others. Because the polite of the original book are different from the English reader habits, so the cultural connotation of the language in the translation is very easy to cause misunderstanding. Mr Yang’s translation do not abandon the cultural factors in the Chinese culture because of the difference between Chinese and Western cultures, on the contrary, they convey the Chinese culture while conveying the original author 's intention, so that more Western readers understand China.
In this chapter, the source and target text of the translation under study is introduced and changes occurred in this translation are detected and categorized. These categories are mostly the same translation procedures introduced in Van Doorslaer’s map which refer to sort of maneuver or technique used by the translator while rendering from ST to TT. All of these techniques are employed within the framework of deconstruction as an underlying logic behind all alterations. 3.1 Corpus Corpuses in this study refer to source text and target text. By source text, it is meant the classic story of Sleeping Beauty written by Charles Perrault.

Translation Aesthetics was systemically introduced to China by Liu Miqing. By his Translation Aesthetics, he says that translation of a text between Chinese and English could be judged by some items, such as culture, translation style and aesthetic psychology. This theory offers a great standard to discusses the distinguish of different versions of a same text. In his book, Liu Miqing has mentioned that the aesthetics of translation should be founded on many aspects. To understand aesthetics translation, people should firstly know something about aesthetics itself.
If four words form as a combination, its inner meaning is often greater than the literal meaning. This kind of words can make people read catchy and make national policy easy to propaganda and understand. But in English translation process, it is difficult to find a complete corresponding vocabulary to replace, furthermore, the rhythm of the four word combinations in the Chinese language, which may also be lost in the course of English translation. Therefore, in the actual translation process, in the premise of not changing the original intention, translators should find their corresponding Chinese translation of the form as possible as they can. When translating this kind of vocabulary, interpreter should fully understand the meaning of words first, and then choose the most appropriate English words to replace and
