A traumatic brain injury is a physical force to the head; for example being hit in the head with a bat or being shot in the head. A TBI can be classified as mild, moderate, or severe based on the size and nature of the injury. Symptoms may be seen right after the injury, but some may develop over time (Traumatic Brain Injury). There are many different types of Traumatic Brain Injuries and symptoms, causes, but simple things can prevent it. There are many types of traumatic brain injuries. Diffuse Axonal Injury is a type of traumatic brain injury. It’s caused by shaking or strong rotation of the head.
