The second competency that resonated with me was the ability to “Demonstrate the use of informatics methodologies to advocate for patient autonomy, dignity and rights and in policy development that would support both the patient and the institution.” I am passionate about advocacy. As a nurse and officer, I must often advocate for my patients and the soldiers who serve under my leadership because I recognize keeping them at the center will improve overall outcomes, satisfaction and morale. Despite the challenges and push back I may encounter as an advocate, it is my responsibility to the patient and soldier. The competencies acquired with this specialty will mature my advocacy. Additionally, I will be
Along with the accountant and other key staff members they should be able to resolve the business end aspect and go back to being physicians in their practice. As leaders, they will have to foster a commitment to the team to accept the changes. This is what will cultivate a work environment that will continually improve through initiative and innovation. These doctors must enable their workforce to be empowered and help to move the practice in a forward positive direction. Being innovative requires a leader to toss out the old rules of thought and form innovative ideas or thoughts.
As Christopher prepared the budget for Pawnee Doctor Visits, he should have considered the mission and vision of the organization. The mission statement is the purpose of the organization. The vision statement is the aspiration of the organization. The mission statement for Pawnee Medical Center is to create and operate a comprehensive system to provide healthcare and related services, including education and research opportunities, for the benefit of the people we serve. Since Christopher knew the mission of the organization, he should have done a more research to see how the business has managed to stay in business for so long and what has continued to attract customers to the organization.
Goal In this lab the goal was to set GPOs and PSOs for the Windows Server 2012 box that we had set up in the previous lab. Group policies allowed us to manage the settings and configurations on the domain bound machines as well as fine tune the password complexity requirements. I had already set up multiple GPOs for my machines prior to starting this lab, so all I really had to do was add in any additional GPOs as well as create the Password Setting Objects. Windows Server 2012: Username: Administrator Password: Hunter2 Security Considerations There are many security concerns that are apparent when looking at this lab and all of the settings that are being pushed out to machines. Some of the most apparent considerations that are touched upon in this lab
It has also shown me that ipconfig can also display IP address, default gateways, adapters like Bluetooth, and subnet masks. Although the TCP/IP are generated into a simpler form for the human to understand, the information off this project can relapse the information we learned from Hands-on Activity 4A. For example, I remembered that TCPs can help the user establish a network connection to another company’s DNS. The ability to analyze a concept objectively, considering the facts and differing perspectives to reach a sound, logical conclusion is thinking critically (Mendes, 2017).
