Every year, my parents take me, my brother, and my sister on an April vacation to Turdburd Island. Hang on, let me introduce myself. I’m Rose Brokos. My mom and dad are Elizabeth and Eddie Brokos. My siblings are Gaby and Ken Brokos. We are triplets, born on April 9, 2009. Even though we’ve been going to Turdburd Island since I was four (I am now 14), this year was a little bit different. “Are everybodys’ things in the boat?” my mom asked. “Yes!” me and my siblings replied. “Now get everybody in the boat,” my dad joked. We all laughed at the joke as we hopped in the boat. Mom sat at the back reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling, Gaby sat on the bread crate reading Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing by Judy Blume, Ken was sleeping, Dad was steering, and I was looking over the side of the boat at the water. I really wished that something would swim up to me. About three hours later, we finally arrived. (I know, not that long.) We docked the boat and went through the check line. At the end of the check line we got our passports stamped. After that, we found the perfect place to set up our tents. Oh, and by the way, we are camping. Once we got settled, Gaby said, “Let’s go for a swim.” “That sounds like a good idea”, Mom replied. We got our bathing suits …show more content…
The next day, the day of court, I showed the permit to Daddy. We went to the court tent and brought the permit with us. All I did was show the permit to the judge, he validated it, and Mom was clear of all charges. Mom took me out to the ocean so that we could search for the passports. We got our diving gear on and went under. We searched for 45 minutes until I found Mom and Dad’s passports and Mom found my siblings’ passports and my passport. We went back onto dry land and started walking back to the tents. All of a sudden, the passports were taken out of our hands by two black haired children who ran
Have you owned your own sailboat when you were fourteen years old well there is “A fourteen year old boy stood there looking at his own sailboat. Does this sound like most fourteen year olds you know?.” The boy is trying to make his last sail with his grandpa but it didn’t happen because his grandpa came down with cancer and wasn’t going to make it. In The Voyage of The Frog, Gary Paulsen uses the character of David to demonstrate determination to complete a task. That task is to make that last sail worth it.
After all the practicing and sharing, it was time for SPLASHING! Sunglasses and sunscreen were on, and friends were summertime ready! Friend has tons; I mean TONS of fun today during water play. They even created a water slide. Six Flags White Waters was here at the Greenhouse!
I was thinking to myself that we were going to die. John comes over to me with a floatation device. John was resourceful like that. To save ourselves we all decided to jump out of the plane. When we were out of the plane we decided to swim to the Amazon for safety.
“One more crate!”, shouted Berry, one of the men on the loading team. “ Their getting ready to trade with Europe” I announced to Taylor “The new England colonies are famous for ship building so we’re quite lucky that we live here”, Taylor said to me. Taylor’s sister, trying to help picked up the smallest crate and stacked it in the back. I turn towards the ship and screamed as loud as I could to Taylor. The ship set sail with her 8 year old sister on board.
How do you like me now! Do you think you can fly? Well i did but we all know how that one's gonna go. Early afternoon, the summer of 2007, in Post Falls, Idaho it was a day of adventure with my just so loving siblings, Tess, Savvy and Emilie.
He noticed that there were only seven kids standing before him and he started to panic. The kid that was first on the boat went missing. The coach then jumped into the water to look for his missing student. A few moments later, the coach came out of the water, and in his arms lied the missing child. He quickly put him
Mom was surprised but happy. She asked me who I wanted to ask from my class, and I said everyone in my homeroom plus Summer”. August wants to invite everyone so they don 't feel bad. A couple of weeks later, I asked Mom who was coming to my party, and she said: "Jack Will, Summer. Reid Kingsley.
Like anyone would be we were all nervous and we sat in a lounge for 6 hours, eventually it ended with my dad coming out of the room and explaining everything to us. Apparently TSA thought that we were carrying LSD and cocaine in our
We were small and cute babies. Our star sign was “Sagittarius” for those who interpret the characteristics from the heavenly bodies. An early black and white photograph exists of the twins sitting upright in a double pram all dressed in white jumpers on the front veranda looking up. We were identical twins and inseparable and used to play together as youngsters.

It is July of this year, 2015, I am riding a charter bus from Stark State College in North Canton,Ohio to Pearl’s dinner in Chicago, Illinois. I am with this program called Upward Bound Math Science, which I had spent all summer with program. We make it to our destination, no problem. “Are you ready, kids?” The animated pirate on the flat screen T.V. boomed. The house was ringing with the television show, SpongeBob Square-Pants. I was in the living room, along with my Aunt Shannon, my Aunt Jessie, and my Nana. My family was really just a bunch of children; watching SpongeBob isn’t regular for a family without a small child.
Today was the day. I repeatedly thought to myself. Today would be the day I set foot on the ship Rubber Duckie, in need to escape from the selfish king, King George. King George had forced us to fight for him which I knew deep down wasn’t right. He forced people my age, to fight for him.
