To Write Love on Her Arms 1.5 million dollars have been donated to help people be able to find treatment and recovery (“To Write”). The movement To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) is a movement that helps people who struggle with addiction, depression, self-injury and thoughts of suicide. In March of 2006 Jamie Tworkowski founded TWLOHA because of a story he heard about a girl named Renee Yohe. Many celebrities are endorsing this movement such as bands and just single members of bands. TWLOHA was invited to go on tour with some bands to help spread awareness for people who are struggling with addiction, depression, self-injury and thoughts of suicide. TWLOHA is also a non-profit organization. TWLOHA has many events that they go on to spread awareness. Events like the one on February 4th in Orlando, FL, and another one on February 8th in Elon, NC, and finally one on March 3-5 in Phoenix, AZ (“To Write”). …show more content…

This is a cause that should be cared about because people could die from being depressed, having an addiction, or from conflicting self-harm on oneself. Many people are friends with people who struggle with depression, addiction, self-injury and thoughts of suicide and don 't want to see their friends get hurt or die because of the issues that they are going through. So don 't think that this is a cause not worth caring about because it is a cause worth caring about. Joining the TWLOHA movement should be happening now. People should join the TWLOHA movement to help spread awareness and to help people find a way to have treatment/recovery, but people might not join because they dont care cause they think its not a cause worth caring about, when in reality it is a cause worth caring about. Go out now and go spread the word about TWLOHA by buying a TWLOHA’s t-shirt to raise awareness and go donate now to help the people who need help finding
