Types of Motivation Our organization World Vision chooses achievement motivation as the first motivational factor, achievement from the employees in the organization will drive and to pursue employees and other employees to attain goals. An individual with achievement motivation wishes to achieve objectives and advance up on the ladder of success which the organization will promote the employee of its achievement and effort done in the organization. Secondly, the organization chooses affiliation motivation; it is a drive to relate to people on a social basis. Power motivated people wish to create an impact on their organization and are willing to take risks to do so. Power motivation is giving change to employees to be part of the leadership role making them feel being heard and being important, what will boost the attentiveness of employers to do work and to be active part of the team. Attitude Motivation is seen as the sixth motivation factor of the organization, attitude motivation is how people think and feel. It is their self-confidence, their belief in them, their attitude to life. It is how they feel about the future and how they react to the past. The organization creates an environment that employees can communicate with each other effectively to share, correct and encourage each other to overcome the difficulties and situations in life that each other come across, that can make an impact on the employee level. Incentive Motivation is the last motivational factor; it is where a person or a team reaps a reward from an activity. It is “You do this and you get that”, attitude. It is the types of awards and prizes that drive people to work a little harder. It is better that in every organization it must be understood that the most important thing to know is that motivation must be in line with physiological understanding between the manager and the employee. There are the impacts of both good and bad of a coin. In motivation this can be pictured that way. It is how best one can use the motivating factor to harness it in a good way. Indirectly it is talking about job satisfactory, although a worker may have an attitude problem. It is their job to complete a task in the best way possible. The motivating factor of such persons relies heavily on what’s driving him forward. We have to make sure as a manager that these kinds of people are best harnessed for the job required. If their performances are of high rates and we realize still that there is still some work to be done to motivate them, as a manager, we have to sit and converse with the employee. In motivating a non-governmental organization barriers are there. These kinds of encounter must be welcomed as there are volunteers’ and hired workers. There must be an understanding of every one in such big environments. The aim in here is to work flexibly in harnessing each and every employee to feel free with whatever that motivates them to do a quality performance and be exploited at the lowest payment. Not only that is the case, we make sure protocols are followed but at a level that will receive high maintenance or achievable
