One of the important thing that I do here in the class of UNIV 1301 is that now I am writing more essays, more feelings, and more importantly more opinions. This class gave me the chance to write whatever I got from the three different articles. Most of the articles that I read where interested because they talk mostly about how the school system are working, one reader do not agree in how the student are being teach and another writer is talking about how the student need to have their mind and their focused to pass the school. Most of the work that we need to do in this class all of the requires to make good replies not only speaking but mostly to be written I sincerely do not think I am a good writer but this class had help me become a better one. I learn from the teacher that what I write it should stay as it is because the way that I am putting my words that is how I want the people to hear me. In order to pass this class the students need to have a lot of “ganas” in order ti=on pass because if the student have laziness they are going to fail. But for most of the time the teacher do not think that the “ganas” that the student have are just enough, because they expect more from the student making it harder for the student that want to succeed. From the article “Ganas: From the Individual to the Community, and the Potential for Improving College Going in the “Land That Texas Forgot”” talk about the project that the authors had put in The Valley and I really think that most of the results that they had are still going on. For example, the article said “the teacher portrayed in the movie Stand and Deliver ,was famous for saying that all students needed was ganas—the desire and drive to succeed, this individualized emphasis on ganas is problematic because, by inference, Latina/o educational underperformance can become narrowly understood as a lack of student and parent motivation” (para. 1, page 2) this is still one of the things that happen in our college life, most of the times we have “ganas” so like I said early in order to succeed you need to have the gut, the ganas to do the

If the audience can 't relate to my writing, they will not understand my intended purpose. I will need to be sure to use facts from the article to support the ideas I present. Also, showing how age isn 't a factor while taking a class may pose a challenge. I would like my audience to understand that whether you are fresh out of high school or going back to school after 20 years, the same obstacles are in the way. No matter your age, it’s still a difficult feeling to think you are prepared to start a class and realize things are much harder than expected.

Another thing that makes it difficult for me as a writer is that I am not good at getting the readers attention and having him hooked on to my work.
