INTRODUCTION The persistent of unemployment rate among the graduates in Malaysia are in a worrying trend. Every year many students have graduated from institutions of higher learning either in public or private institutions. However , Malaysian graduates face difficulties to find jobs due to labor market changes are too rapidly and competitively . Nowadays, the employer will find the worker who had a lot of experienced one compared to the one without experience. The employer prefer worker experiences because they can save money and time from implement training program for new employees. BACKGROUND OF RESEARCH This reseach provides a broad overview of the employment situation in graduates which is a major concern of Malaysia government throughout the region. The approach is rather general and highlights the problems which leads the increasing of unemployment rates in Malaysia.Because of data limitation,the reseach solution focuses on the quality of educational system and the impacts to unemployment rates. Unemployment is the condition of willing workers lacking jobs or "gainful employment". In economics, unemployment statistics measure the condition and extent of joblessness within an economy. A key measure is the unemployment rate, which is the number of unemployed workers divided by the total civilian labor force. TYPES OF UNEMPLOYMENT Frictional unemployement When moving from one job to another, the unemployment temporarily experienced when looking for a new job. Structural unemployment Caused by a mismatch between the location of jobs and the location of job-seekers. "Location" may be geographical, or in terms of skills. The mismatch comes because unemployed are unwilling or unable to change geography or skills. Cyclical unemployment When there is not enough aggregate demand for the labor. It seems that every year the country produces more and more brilliant students. This is evident with the increasing number of straight A students in SPM. It is also easier to find degree holders with first class honors. Surely, this is a good measure of the graduate’s quality. However, today academic achievement has little to do with how well graduates can excel in the working world.
