So, it can be said that the current marketing plan of Unilever is providing the customers the best quality products. Besides this here is another argument which is Unilever current marketing plan is providing their products to all classes of customers. The reason of this argument is it is seen that Unilever is producing their products focusing the every customer’s demographic factors such as age, gender. For children, milk powder, ice-cream, cheeps, baby diaper, baby care products etc. for old aged customers different beverages, snacks etc. Unilever also segment their product according to the gender such as beauty care products, home care products for women, deodorants for men. Besides these, another strong segment is the customer’s income level. Unilever provide different sizes for example large, medium, small and mini of their products at different prices so that the customers of lowest income and the customers of highest income both can buy and consume their products. The company also follows government’s rules and regulation and ethical standard. The new marketing plan will be added with the current marketing plan because changing the marketing plan totally will required much time and the management have to rearranged everything of the company which quite impossible. Since the new objective is providing quality products at a lower price, the company will minimize its production cost and different sales cost. Because, if production cost will not be minimized, the profit and sales revenue will be decreased due to reducing the prices. So, to maintain the revenue growth and profit, Unilever should minimize the cost. Though minimizing production cost may affect the quality of the product the management of the company should be careful about it. They need to find out the suppliers who will provide raw materials at a lower rate than the competitors and they accept different social media’s offers for advertising their products which will reduce the marketing cost. Providing high quality product at lower rate than the competitors will increases the revenue and profit and because of increasing revenue and Profit Company’s market share will be increased.
