Team Work - I 've felt like I work very well in teams, although I do also work well alone, it feels great working alongside people who can help you get a job done efficiently and easily, especially if you grow to like those people which in my past experiences has always been the case; so I 'm very used to working with teams. Maturity - I believe maturity extends far beyond what a lot of people would interpret it as. It accounts for more than just not laughing at immature jokes and being able to be professional when faced with a task. Sensitivity and empathy I think are two important traits which come along with the idea of maturity. Sensitivity, of course, accounts for how one talks to others, I 'm sure we 're all very tired of seeing staff members on other servers that are there just for the purpose of saying they got a moderator position on that server so when it comes to moderating, they 're very lethargic with their work and can be emotionless when monotonously speaking with you.
As mentioned in the introduction I believe that I understand human emotion well, I have always enjoyed phycology and think it fits hand in hand with acting, as it is in the most simple form finding the reason for people's behavior. I also have been steadily increasing in my skill and knowledge about acting due to my dedication to it, and I do not think it will disappear. Therefore I believe acting is the perfect career for me. Although it is an unstable job, it is a very flexible field, offering hundreds of different experiences over an extensive period of time. Although I work hard for everything I do and am always dedicated, I learned that hard work and dedication are much stronger when goals are made. I also realized you can learn just as much from watching as doing. As I prepare for college, I will carry this into being a better student to my professors. Finally, I am grateful for the huge support system that helped me accomplish my goal. My CORHA family, my mother and father, sisters, and friends were always there for advice and support; this is a blessing that is beyond any price tag.
For me this was a turning point in my life, I realized the true meaning for me coming to college. I think the true meaning is not worrying about what other people think of you in life, if you’re in college or not. Overall I can say that I came to college and got over my little mindedness in my first semester. I think that having these experiences in life makes you realize the real reason for what you’re doing. I think a lot of people go into college straight out of high school with the littlest mindset about what there getting into.
I’ve always been in Honors classes and get good grades, currently I have a GPA of 3.4 but am striving to better myself and get a 4.0. I try to always have a positive outlook on situations and prepare myself for challenging ones. I have great teamwork skills and I work great with different types of people even disabled/special needs. The philosophy of Capital One is “Hire great people and give them the opportunity to be great.” Meaning give one a chance to see how good they can be. I don’t want just a job at Capital One I want a career with Capital One.
