This function is used for billing and payment purposes, as well as for research and quality performance reviews. Medical billing and coding specialist are the glue that holds together every healthcare facility… healthcare providers can 't stay in business without the help of good billers and coders, because without them the facility doesn’t get paid. Whether it is on the news or from a drug advertisement, everyone has encountered medical terminology at some point in his or her life. Having the opportunity to listen to patients during their interactions with physicians while shadowing in primary care practices was most profound to my journey of pursuing a career in medicine. Often the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions are regarded as most important in providing successful care to patients.
