Moctezuma (1466-1520), was the ninth emperor of Mexico from 1502 to 1520. The Aztec Empire, which Moctezuma ruled until 1520, was taken over by Guetemoc after he was killed by his own men. The fall of the Aztec Empire was caused by Hernan Cortes, a Spaniard who invaded Tenochtitlan, the capital of the Empire, in the year 1519. This letter will include reasons as to why Moctezuma is considered to be a traitor and coward by his own people for betraying them in a time when they needed a strong leader.

A shock city is the urban place that represents a massive and rapid changes in social, economic, and cultural life (urbanization) due to many factors, including new models of transportation such as railroads, industrialization, and other factors. The first city that was considered the “shock city” was actually Manchester, England. It grew very quickly, and it was the world’s first industrialized city and the home of the cotton industry, cottonopolis - a metropolis centered on cotton trading. Same as Manchester, Chicago was also the “shock city” of North America because of its rapid growth. Both cities were industrial cities, Chicago rose from a struggling village sunk in the middle of a grassland creek to a metropolis city. Between 1830 to

The Aztecs were one of the most famous and successful early civilizations of the Americas that we know of, who ruled an empire in the modern day country of Mexico from 1350 to 1519. From their capital city of Tenochtitlan, now known as Mexico City, to their daily routines, the Aztecs had many achievements that they deserve recognition for. Two very important components in the history of the Aztecs are agriculture and human sacrifice. Although they both play huge roles in Aztec culture, historians should emphasize on their methods of farming. The reasons why historians should center their focus on the Aztecs' agricultural techniques are they affected the growth of their empire, were used on a huge scale, and were very unique in comparison to other
American Urbanization started like a wildfire and it spread so rapidly that facilities and institutions in society could not keep up. From 1850 to 1900 America completely changed from its agricultural state into a new industry based society. The four paramount changes that occured during America’s urbanization period were new immigration, the build up of cities (skyscrapers and mass transit), living conditions, and boss rule and the rise of mass consumption. Even though the changes during urbanization did not come easily due to immense diversity, they still paved the way to modern day America.
The Mexican culture is very diverse which has undergone many transformations over several decades and the culture varies widely throughout Mexico and the United States. The Aztecs were a remarkable civilization found in present day Mexico City, from 1350 to 1519. Their city of Technochtitlan was the capital city of their civilization. Two things the Aztec culture is known for are human sacrifice and agriculture. However, historians should emphasize the role of agriculture in this civilization. They should focus more on agriculture because it helped them expand their empire, develop their technology, and the scale of usage.""Agriculture was a big part of the Aztec empire. Agriculture helped the Aztecs flourish as a civilization. There 's a connection between territorial expansion and agriculture. Mexico is widely known for its rich culture that is complimented by traditional food recipes, music, and art; other things that may come to mind are the popular Mesoamerican civilizations, its beautiful coastal beaches, or even the eagle symbol on the Mexican flag. Nevertheless, something that most definitely does not come to mind is the African descendants and their influences on Mexico’s culture and history.
Mexico city has an inequality issue. The issue was caused by an unequal distribution of wealth. The standards of living within the city are very different. An Estimated 40% live below the poverty line. The city contains homeless street kids, piracy, pollution, crime, and 100,000 street vendors. At the same time the rich live in gated communities, houses with rooftop swimming pools. Many different lives just yards away.
The Earth is such a gigantic planet, it is filled with so many different types of places, people, and culture. Over time people throughout time shape the natural landscape and accommodate their needs.
In the nineteenth century, rates of immigration across the world increased. Within thirty years, over eleven million immigrants came to the United States. There were new types of people migrating than what the United States were used to seeing as well. Which made people from different backgrounds and of different race work and live in tight spaces together; causing them to be unified. Not only did they immigrate to the United States, there were cities all over the world attracting all sorts of individuals. In this essay, I will discuss the variety of people who migrated, why so many people leaned towards immigration, and why the majority of immigrants populated the cities instead of rural areas like their homelands.
