Our biggest event was when we hosted a carnival for our school’s Yo-Hi Day (end of the year field day event). We hosted a variety of different activities for students to do such as a joust-stick battle, a bouncy house obstacle course, a dunk tank, and more. The day of the event was the easiest to manage, but the process of making it happen was a challenge. I’ve realized that a lot of things goes on behind the scenes, and sometimes people are not aware of that because what they see are the results. A lot of things happened during the process like; making sure all the supplies came in on time, figuring out the quantity and the type of food we should get for the snack bar, who is available to supervise each activity, and what’s plan B if the snow

Love and heartache have been discussed and explored through literacy many times in every way possible. Overall through the course of literacy, we have learned that love is not easy. Sometimes people choice to brush off the bruises and try again and some people choice to find another purpose. Jeff Parker and Erica Dawson are two authors who, by using different types of literary formats, effectively came across the topic of love. Erica Dawson uses poetry in her poem, “New NASA Missions Rendezvous with Moon”, to execute the idea that love wins at the end of the day.
This event would come to be known as the “St. Valentine's Day
With Valentine in the role of the ego, Ender becomes the super-ego. Valentine views Ender as a strong moral character, and while Ender does not agree, all the sins he commits are done under extreme duress, followed by extreme guilt. Despite the violence Ender engages in on several occasions, he, unlike Peter, is rarely eluded to as a monster. In fact, Ender is often described in ways that seem at odds with his twice-murderer committer-of-genocide status. The people in charge of Ender say that “he’s clean,” that he’s a good person, “right to the heart” (Card 66).
The teenage years are often times of rebellion due to physical and emotional changes, adolescence feeling demented and overwhelmed, out of control forming rebellion in their lives. They rebel against both authority and convention, this is visible in Abdel-Fattah’s novel “Does My Head Look Big in This?” and in Hughes film “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”. Both texts displaying a time of turmoil in adolescence, the rules they face and the characters’ struggles in dealing with them.
Again, we appreciate you Ladies so much and the only way that we can truly let you know this is by making you proud and giving this all that we got. Just know that we admire you both as women of distinction, adults, and big sisters. That change we promised is coming. With love and

Love is a universal human emotion explored in many ways through writing. In novels, romance is shown to be a common theme. It is used to show love in ways that readers can sympathize and relate to, but love can also be shown in different ways. There is more to love than romantic feelings for another person. For example, people show immense pride and love for their family, friends, culture, and even themselves.

When people have a bad or disappointing day, do they lack self-confidence? It does not matter who someone is, people should always look on the bright side and carry an encouraging attitude no matter the situation that lays ahead. Through the country song “It’s A Great Day To Be Alive” by Travis Tritt, he understands people may have non-successful days, but looking at what he personally has in life, he is thankful and knows the joyful days are yet to come. The poem “I, Too” by author Langston Hughes, illustrates how discrimination is more than difficult, but having confidence in oneself and the people around will get through the hard times. In the song “It’s A Great Day To Be Alive” and the poem “I, Too”, both have the message of having confidence in life.
Love can exist as affection, infatuation, obsession, pleasure and in many other ways, as love is abstract. Hence, there is no one single interpretation of love. Love is a theme that has been embedded into language and literature over the centuries, yet due to the ever changing perception of love people continue to search for a universal definition of love. Poems are able to showcase the inner feelings and desires of a poet as well as their own unique views on love. Nevertheless, through poems “La Belle Dame sans Merci” by John Keats, “My Last Duchess” by Robert Browning, “Mother in a Refugee Camp” by Chinua Achebe, “The day is gone, and all its sweets are gone!”
