Having a vegetable garden at home is the perfect way to save your money and to know what you eat. It is not such a hard work and it is rewarding. The taste of a fresh delicious vegetable is amazing and the flavour is the prize of the hard work.

Firstly, you need to decide what are you planting. You should start small in the beginning in order not to waste food. Think how much you are planting. Tomatoes and peppers keep providing throughout the season, so you do not need to plant that much of them. But carrots produce only once, therefore you need more of those.

Diseases and insects are the main problems that gardeners face. Use a fence if deer and rabbits steal your vegetables. The spring insects can be easily stopped with a lightweight sheets of plastic.
