Do you know only 31% of the people in India are vegetarians. “According to the 2006 Hindu-CNN-IBN State of the Nation Survey, 31% of the Indians are vegetarians, while another 9% consumes egg” (Ayush Jain para 2 Quora)”. Some people say vegetarian food is not healthy or they didn’t like it because it doesn’t taste good to them. They say that it doesn’t provide any energy. They are wrong, they probably don’t know how to make it. They also don’t know that vegetarian food provides much more energy than non-vegetarian food. Some people likes eating rice, breads or chapatti. While some other people like eating burger, noodles, and meat. I haven’t eaten any burger, noodles when I was in India. In India you can find Mc DONALDS, Pizza Hut, and KFC in only big cities. The city from I came from wasn’t having any of these. Its’ a very small city you cannot even get burger there. Vegetarian food improves our digestion, and the absorption mechanism of our body and the body works very well. We feel good and strong. We don’t felt sleepy after eating vegetarian food. For example when I eat vegetarian food like pulses, sabji, and bread I don’t feel sleepy at all. Whenever I have eaten non-vegetarian food I have gone to bed much before than the usual time. People in America work very hard in their daily lives so they think the meat is the good source of energy, and it is the only way for them to keep going without getting tired. That’s not true. Vegetarian food can give more energy than non-vegetarian food and it will last longer. Vegetarian food has less protein which comes from unsaturated fat, which is good for our health. For example, almonds, Quorn, soya mince, and tofu. On the other hand non-vegetarian food consists of high cholesterol, fatty food, and high protein such as bacon, fried eggs have fat and can cause diabetes, heart
