Verinag is a town in Anantnag District. It's the first tourist spot of Kashmir Valley when travelling by road from Jammu. A major tourist attraction in Verinag is Verinag Spring. There is an octagonal stone basin at Verinag Spring and an arcade surrounding it built by Mughal Emperor Jahangir. Later a beautiful garden next to this spring was laid out by his son Shah Jahan. Verinag Spring is also the main source of River Jehlum. Verinag Spring and Mughal Garden surrounding it is officially recognized by Archealogical Survey of India as a Monument of National Importance.

It has a strong history. In 1605 Mughal Emperor Jehangir ordered his Governor Ali Mardan Khan to build sarais along the road. He constructed some more than 8 Sarais. The distance of these sarais is constant from each other i.e. 20 Kilometers. The Shadimarg sarai was personal favorite of Jehangir and Noor Jehan. Sadly as a result of neglection this heritage site is turned into a toilet and a cowshed by enroachers.
11) The village was named Shadimarg by Jehangir himself. His wife Noor Jahan gave birth to his son here. The king was happy but child died within two days. So he named the place Shadimarg, Shadi means happiness and Marg death. The Shadimarg sarai encloses a mosque and eidgah. The mosque is in a worse condition. The rooftop of mosque is covered with grass and rain water easily seeps down from there. The eidgah has also been enroached upon.

This is an example of adversity because when Fadi’s family was in America, they were still keeping up with the news in Afghanistan. Fadi’s father, Habib, had made this statement describing what he thought of the situations that were happening in Afghanistan. Clearly, celebrating culture even though it can cause difficulties like adversity, is shown in this
I assume because Muslims regained Jerusalem back. In this story, he tells of the time when King Richard had 20,000 Muslims executed and Muslim leader Saladin had many Christian prisoners beheaded. Each man did and eye for and eye deal. Even in our time Saladin is a hero in the eyes of the Islamic world. He is remembered not just for capturing Jerusalem for the Islam, but for his humanity, his tenderness, and how he keeps under control.
Shahrazad shows him other people’s struggles and this does three things to The King. Firstly, the story brings us back to the idea of “misery loves company.” Shahrazad is able to show The King that everyone goes through trials and tribulations at some point in their life. Each of the old man’s tales conveys the same theme of being innocent, while the people closest to you betray you. We see this in the First Wise Man’s Tale when it reads “I entrusted my wife, this one here, with my mistress and son, bade her take good care of them, and was gone for a whole year.
Also contributing to the loss of Samir’s clients is the aftermath of Hosamm’s murder-suicide, which causes Samir’s children to recommend he relocate his practice. Are you visiting Rome? The city has many attractions. Vatican city, Colosseum, Stadio Olimpico, crusty thin pizza and many others. My personal favorite, and maybe the biggest attraction of them all is the Pantheon.
According to source F, the Royal Road “is said that there are as many horses and men posted at periods of time (or space) as there are days required for the whole trip, so that one horse and one man are assigned to each day. And neither snow nor rain nor heat nor dark of night keeps them from completing their selected course as quickly as possible.” The Royal Road was one of the biggest infrastructures that helped Persia, spanning over 330 miles from Lydia to Phrygia (Source F). This big road had many rest stops for the horses to make the travel faster and more efficient. Darius’s Canal was a narrow waterway that allowed ships to travel directly from the Nile River to Persia, since this is closely related to the Suez Canal, this is considered an engineering feat.

The Silk Roads played an important role in connecting Afro-Eurasia, both culturally and economically. The term “Silk Roads” was first used by Baron Ferdinand von Richtofen, a German geographer from the 19th century. He created the phrase to describe the routes between India, China, and the Mediterranean, which were used to transport items such as silk, livestock, glass, and precious metals. Historians have speculated that the roads might have been used as early as 2000 B.C.E. In the last century B.C.E., the Silk Roads experienced a golden age.
King Ramses the 2nd was known as the 'Keeper of Harmony and Balance, Strong in Right, Elect of Ra’. Ramses lived till he was 90, which was incredible long for that time period. Additionally , the house that the narrator mentions is illustrated as “ mansion of gloom “ which might be a sign that the aura of the house has something dreadful in it. However , the Narrator reveals something important about his first impression for the house by saying “ I looked upon the scene before me , upon the mere house, upon the bleak walls , upon the vacant eye-like windows ( 3 ).To illustrate , the words such as “ air of heaven , silent tarn , mystic vapor “ used as a reinforcement for making the ambience of the house as gloomy. In fact , in the light of these facts , it could be said that the house has an darkness appearance which might be an indication of its mysterious atmosphere.
The Persian Empire reigned for about 200 years, starting around the 6th century BCE. The Empire began with Cyrus the Great’s expansion of his kingdom by conquering other countries. During the time 200 years of this large Empire’s existence, they invented several important things that we still use today. One of those few things being the first large thoroughfare or road. These roads were prominent in the sense that everything related to the empire was connected to this road.
By that time, network of roads was far more complex. It was almost 6500 km long. It now started from Chang'an in China, following Great Chinese wall to north-west, passing by borders of Taklamakan desert, crossing Pamir mountains and went through Afghanistan until reaching Levant. From Levant, products were sent by boats in Mediterranean sea to next destinations in
In contrast, cultural heritage sites are the main tourist attractions of Kathmandu. The tourism industry is well managed in Colorado. On the other hand, the tourism industry is still developing in Kathmandu. The total number of tourists visiting Colorado is higher than the number of tourists visiting Kathmandu. Located atop a hillock, the city’s core consists of the red sandstone palace complex and the Jami Masjid within which lies the marble tomb of Sufi saint Salim Chisti, whom Akbar revered. The approach from the Agra Gate had houses of nobles on either side, a bazaar, a mint house, the royal kitchen and the house of the noble of kitchens, reflecting great planning. From here the palace complex begins with from the Diwan-i-Aam an open raised courtyard with trabeate corridors, just behind which is a structure named the Diwan-i-Khass. This red sandstone building has an interesting interior with a circular carved pillar with serpentine brackets at its centre supporting four walkways to each corner of the square room. Asher and Brown maintain that Akbar sat atop this pillar and heard disputes with the arrangement symbolizing ‘dominion over the four quarters’, yet S.A.A Rizvi holds this was actually a royal jewel house owing to the chambers within the pillar.
