Some people think that violence in movies and television are the cause of social problems in modern society. This is due to recent studies and events that have been related to the matter. It is not far fecthed to think that violent behavior among certain group of people is caused by the violent media they are exposed to. How well does one know what children are exposed to in a daily basis? Since violent media seems to be a very plausible cause for people, its imperative we dig further into the subject. Although the consequences are correlated , the learned conducts are very common due to the continuous and unsupervised television activity among children in American homes. According to E. Beresing, M.D. in her article from American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, over 200,000 acts of violence, including 16,000 murders would be seen by a typical American child. This might be a rate that will take it 's true effect further in time but, the more we predict, the better solutions will emerge and no regrets will be expected when the chances are taken. The fact that aggressive behavior takes place is mainly because the younger the child, the more difficulty he or she will have to establish the differences between fantasy and reality when seeing violent behavior in media.
