They said in their studies that there may be major challenges for implementing an e-learning material, including the accessibility of virtual learning environment it needs to be computer and internet based and is influenced by the speed and location of the user’s internet connection, the lack of advanced computer skills among the academic staff, little awareness on instructional design techniques, time constraints and security concerns as well. Other disadvantages they had included are students’ necessarily needs access to computers, smart phones, tablets and computer network to make it possible to work. In addition, Virtual Learning Environment can become a ‘dumping ground’ for materials not designed to be delivered online. Descriptive research describes a certain present phenomenon. Relatively, the method is appropriate for this study since it aims to describe the present phenomenon of technical analysis as it is used in a Virtual Learning Environment & Innovative tool for Learning. The technique that was used under descriptive method is the normative survey approach and evaluation, which is commonly used to explore opinions according to respondents that can represent a whole population. The survey is appropriate in this study because it enables the proponents in the formulation of generalizations. The direct-data type of survey is a reliable source of first-hand information because the proponents directly interact with the participants. This case study will assist stakeholders with making informed decisions on utilizing technology based resource within their curriculum. The XYZ district is a very small school system. Only 20% of teachers are currently trained and instructing with various technology tools, which are problems created by mistrust of technology or hesitation born from frustration or lack of confidence and adequate training and funding (Ruggiero & Mong, 2015).This study is essential because it can supply an example of teaching and learning with one-to-one computing and establish a comprehensive understanding of ways to maximize diverse technology tools within the curriculum. Although teachers within this school district have access to the Internet and online subscriptions, many teachers are not utilizing the potential of educational benefits that technology resources offer (Blau & Peled, 2012).
In the article "Virtual Students, Digital Classroom,” by Neil Postman he presents his thoughts about technology in class. Postman comes to the conclusion that high-technology in the classroom won’t solve any of the schools’ issues and will also take over his and other teachers teaching jobs. Computers in the classroom will not help children learn any more than they already know in school, if teachers were replaced computers, students will lose the face to face interaction that can only be with another human, and teachers go to school to learn to teach a specific subject and how to teach that subject to the students. Postman portrays himself to be an intelligence, descriptive and opinionated man. Postman knows a lot when it comes to the subject of technology use in classrooms and he proves it in his in his words.

Most people extol the ability of using technology while in school. However, the widespread use of information technologies force students’ lives to move too quickly and forces them into isolation. Throughout this unit, there have been many reasons addressed as to how and why students learn at a different pace according to their personal interests, life experiences, skills and current knowledge. This is the basis of Thompson’s ‘virtual schoolbag’ concept. Although the curriculum is created to teach all students the same lessons inside the classroom, it is imperative that educators understand the diversity of student learning, and how it will progress at different rates, depending on their past experiences in learning, both within and outside of the classroom. This can be involving friends, parents, doctors, shopkeepers –anyone who has been involved in the child’s life in some way.
My experience with the Certificate in International Learning has been a journey of self-awareness and growth. The certificate has allowed me to incorporate cultural experiences into my degree, which has challenged my perceptions of the world and the possibilities of what I can do. The requirements necessary to complete the Certificate in International Learning have spanned the course of my entire degree and I think, upon reflection, these experiences have helped expand my communication skills and broadened my knowledge of global affairs. The first set of requirements that I completed for the CIL certificate was the language competency and the twelve credits of globally minded courses.

Results of the study The results of the study are reported into four parts based on the sequence in the questionnaire starting from Part I: General information, Part II: Online professional development experiences followed by the relationship between online professional development experiences and teachers’ characters, Part III: Summary of websites used as examples of online professional development tools, and Part IV: Limitations in using online professional development. The ideal number of the returned questionnaire should be 44; however, there were 25 returns (56.8%). The result of the study is shown as follow.
