Honolulu, Hawaii, the capital of the Hawaiian islands, is a magnificent island with amazing sights. Have you ever wanted to visit this island? Have you ever thought about taking a vacation there? Many people dream of going. They go there for vacations, weddings, honeymoons, or even just to see the true beauty of the island. This is truly a magnificent place to visit.
The islands are located in the Pacific Ocean. They are part of the North American continent. “Hawaii is the only state in the United states that does not lie on the mainland of North America” (Fetzer Company, Scott 1). Hawaii is a group of many islands but you may not know that “Hawaii is a group of volcanic islands in the central pacific islands”(History.com staff 1). There are actually active volcanoes on the islands.
The place I would like to visit though is Honolulu. Honolulu is located on an island called Oahu (History.com staff …show more content…

You can spend some time on the beach or you can go sightseeing. There are so many things to go see. Some examples of the activities are scuba diving, snorkeling, touring, and many more. There are many museums you can visit too. Such as the pearl harbor museum that I had mentioned before. This has some models of the planes that were demolished during the tragedy and it also has a wall of names of the people that had died. According to “The Top 10 Things to Do in Honolulu,” there are many tours you can take to see more of the beautiful island such as water tours, landscape tours, and many more.(1)
Hawaii is known all around the world as a beautiful place to visit. You can go here and see all of the amazing sights, but you can also learn about the historical event that happened there. It is pretty cool being able to be right where something very important and as well known as pearl harbor has happened. There are so many things to see or visit on this amazing island. There is no way you could get bored or regret
