When characterising him as a person leading a country , he has a very authoritarian style and is very aggressive as a leader.
Under his leadership, The Russian economy has shown significant growth in terms of the domestic policies, foreign policies and economic policies since before Putin the country was in recession and under huge debt which was almost covered up by the year 2005. In 2014, after the disputed referendum, Russia tried to invade the Ukraine territory starting from the Crimean crisis. The ongoing crisis between Ukraine and Russia also lead to the missing aircraft, Malaysian airline flight MH 17 during the ongoing war by Russia on Ukraine. During the investigation, it was analyzed that the aircraft was shot down by a surface to air missile operated by Russian forces which killed all 298 people including the passengers and members on board. Russia however declaimed the facts and said that Ukraine bears full responsibility of the crash as the incident took place in the Ukraine airspace.

Since 2014, when Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of India, his focus has been on modernizing and reforming India's infrastructure and government, reducing bureaucracy, encouraging increased foreign direct investment, improving national standards of health and sanitation and improving foreign relations.
Since Modi's leadership, India's foreign direct investment has risen by 61% than the previous year. Modi has also initiated 'Make In India' which encourages multinational and domestic companies to manufacture their products in India. This move has led to India surpassing China and US in terms of Foreign direct investments. Being the Prime minister he has implemented a lot of changes and policies for a better and brighter future of India, most of it is still being worked upon. We would like to see how the country develops to be in the near future, however as he has declared to reform India by the year 2020 and has initiated this movement, he has not declared the measures in place for this reformation of the country. In May 2014, Modi declared the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan which means Clean India, a drive to eliminate open defecation specially in the rural areas, however it has not been explained by as to how the awareness of the same will take place in those who are not educated and be encouraged to keep the country cleaner and greener.
