Homework is a necessary aspect for students learning abilities. It helps students prepare and understand what they need to become more intellectual. It also provides knowledge and the more knowledge a person acquires the better because, as stated in the article “Knowledge is the Key to Success,” the more a person knows the easier it is for them to handle whatever problems life throws their way (“Knowledge is the”). Homework brings academic achievement and shows the value or knowledge between students. The more knowledge a person acquires the more opportunities and doors will open.
However, with sufficient support, people with learning disabilities can improve his life and achieve success in school, in relationships, and in the community. Learning Disabilities is an umbrella term describing a number of other, more specific learning disabilities, such as Auditory Processing Disorder (APD), Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Language Processing Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). For both candidates 1 and 2, they share a common learning disability which is reading disability. Although reading has presented numerous and heavy challenges for nearly every child, those with reading disabilities struggle a lot more under intense pressure compared to those normal children. As with most learning disabilities, the exact cause of reading disabilities is incomprehensible as the cause can come in various ways.

Aural means related to sense of hearing and oral related to verbal communication. Surely when the student is getting better in both listening and speaking they will reach communicative competence. Communicative competence refers to the level of language learning that enables language users to convey their message to others and to understand others’ messages within specific context (Hymes, 1972). Of course to reach this competence, both listening and speaking improvement is really needed. When I first learned how to read, I developed a very strong internal motivation. I utilized this self-motivation in high school to reach my educational goals and aspirations. My self-motivation was vital for maintaining high academic standings, good time management and staying organized, which are all important for doing well in college and the working world.
