Nowadays waste management and disposal is the global problem and is the most important environmental challenges for society. It is obvious that the problems of waste are serious because the amount of garbage that humanity throws away is rising. Such actions cause different problems that I will point out in this work. The problems negatively affect the quality of the environment; therefore affect also us – inhabitants. Based on that I believe that this issue need to be solved as soon as possible to improve our lives and in this work I will seek for potential solutions.

I believe that the main reasons for this is urbanization of population and decreasing of producing goods’ prices. Moreover, trends for such things like gadgets, vehicles and clothes are changing rapidly nowadays. If you look at today’s advertisements, you can easily see that we are pushed to buy more and more. Due to marketing strategies of big corporations service life of these things and components for them decreases. This way of making business helps companies to get stable significant profit, but only some of them think about of environment. In addition, do not forget about all these plastic or polyethylene packages for vast number of products in supermarkets we have to throw away. We should strictly follow these rules in our everyday life because it is much better to prevent such disasters than to fight with aftermath.
In my opinion, pervasive recycling is one of the necessary conditions for solving the garbage problem. In our daily routine, we use papers, plastics and metals, which can be recycled quite easily and then reused in a different form. We need to sort it by ourselves and in innovative European countries, like Finland, the principle of separate waste collection has been accepted long time ago. It leads to eco-friendly environment.
Another way to help with the waste problem is to reduce the amount of garbage you produce. This can be done by buying less, buying things in smaller packaging, and simply reusing what you have. You can also buy used, which means you do not produce additional waste because you do not have to discard any more packaging. Donating things you do not longer want also helps. Rather than going to landfills, second-hand clothing, electronic equipment, and even furniture can be passed on to others to extend their usable
