Greetings parents, teachers, friends, PTA, and fellow classmates. Today, I welcome you to join us as we celebrate graduation day at Lopatcong Middle school. Well class of 2018, we made it. Was there ever really any doubt?! Maybe sometimes, but here we are. We are certainly a class that will be remembered as being, how can I say it...Spirited! Right Mr. Bonney.
Even though with the fantastic and funny memories from this year also, there also comes unfortunate terrifying tragedies at our nation school that has most definitely had an impact on all of us in some way and we keep all of those affected by those senseless events in our thoughts today and always. As we move forward, we will face new challenges on the road ahead of us. Not only to be

Even though it went by quickly for you, it felt like an eternity for us, until we got onto this stage today. I remember watching this ceremony as a fifth grader, and never knowing how quickly we would be on the same stage. Now we are on stage, graduating as 8th graders to continue our education onto high school and eventually college.
After walking out of those doors tonight, we will begin a new chapter in our lives. Although it may be scary, I know all of us are ready.
While I know we are so very excited about the adventures that await us, we can honestly admit it is a bit overwhelming and intimidating as well. While many of us will be going to Phillipsburg High School, some of us will be going off to private schools or moving to new places. No matter when we got here, we are graduating together, as Lopatcong Panthers. No matter where we go remember that we don’t have to follow the crowd. We need to keep working hard to do the right thing, even if no one is looking. While it may not always be fun, try to study hard and remember that we are always investing in our future with every test we take, book we read, paper we write, choice we make, and every friend we

These past four years I have learned that starts with one step, one voice, and one action. Like Rachel Joy Scott once said, “ I have this theory that if one person can go out of their way to show compassion, then it will start a chain reaction of the same.” This year grades 5-8 had an assembly about Rachel Joy Scott and how kind she was and the story she wrote before the Columbine Shooting, “ My Ethics, My Codes of Life.” It showed how she believed that one act of kindness will go a long way, and I definitely know that the assembly has touched each and every one of us
This interesting school year has just begun. Students have been looking so happy. Here's why. First, This school year has a twist.
Hello! I hope the school year is going great. Although I no longer walk the Daleville hallways I cannot help but hear the many things that go on. It was clearly brought to my attention that Wyatt Baldwin's senior quote was inappropriate. As I looked into the yearbook website and saw it myself after my mom had sent me the picture of it blacked out I understood the reasoning.
We hope you will remember these years fondly — the bonds of friendships you made, the opportunities for self-growth that defined you as an individual, and the intellectual development you experienced both in and out of the classroom. The Fraternity wants you to remember that this is not the end of your experience as a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, but another
Margaret Talbot’s “Best in Class” is an enticing and informational article about the argument on whether or not Valedictorians are a good thing. Having one valedictorian has been a tradition in schools for many, many years; however, as times change, students are becoming more invested and determined in school, so many kids are missing being valedictorian by 0.001%. Therefore, Talbot brings to light both sides of the story in this extraordinary article. Although Margaret seems to not choose a side, it is obvious through her strong diction and testimonies that she believes that appointing a single valedictorian is an unfair custom throughout U.S. schools.
Because I am not from Alabama, I knew that this program was going to be an excellent way to get involved and meet people in a smaller setting before classes start – but I never expected the impact that the people I met this week would have had on me. Whether it was the amazing student leaders or the freshman in my project group at Taylorville, I met some of the most genuine people in my life and they really helped to solidify my view of this school and made me feel like I belong here, like I’m home. It wasn’t just the fact that we spent a majority of this past week together that made us connect, but it was our drive to
Each year, Graduation Rites, Commencement Exercises, Moving Up Ceremonies (whatever you may call them) bring profound joy not only to the students but most of all to the parents and guardians who are always working hard to provide for their children the best catholic education. St. John Bosco Academy has given to our beloved country and to the Universal Church graduates who have been formed and taught in a Christian way, who continue to bring honor to this Institution, and who are still standing tall in the society making St. John Bosco proud. To you, dear students, it is always great to have someone to look up to. Being students of St. John Bosco Academy, I presume you have known our very own St. John Bosco like you know your best friend.
The atmosphere of Schoenfeld Campus Gym had been electrifying Thursday afternoon. The Fall Homecoming Pep Rally included numerous activities for Concordia’s sports team to partake in. For example, one “challenge” involved a member of the sports team getting wrapped up in toilet paper, under the pressure of a time clock. When time ran out, whichever individual was wrapped in the most toilet paper (or looked the most like they had just emerged from an Egyptian pyramid) won that game. The CCNY Pep Rally acted as an opportunity for the rest of the student body to become familiar with our famed athletic program, and to mingle with this elite status of the student.
Marguerite Johnson has been waiting on this day all year long; GRADUATION DAY!!! It’s a big accomplishment for her and the people in her community. Marguerite was so excited, so as the people that knew her personally. Her
You each have already done a lot, with many great things to come, so tonight we take a moment and appreciate your accomplishments and your potential! So, inductees, stand up and let us recognize you! We are proud!
Lone Star High School is a location where students can feel secure and have many opportunities to showcase their skills and leadership qualities. Our campus is built upon five figurative pillars; Integrity, Strength, Stewardship, Loyalty and Perseverance. These pillars are what make us the admirable school that we are today. I believe everyone of our students must have these five qualities in order to ensure success now and later on in the future. As a student I believe that for one to have integrity they must show signs of righteous ethical morals.
As Charles Darwin once stated “Doing what little one can to increase the general stock of knowledge is as respectable an object of life, as one can in any likelihood pursue.” Le start with character. Character defines a person who they are, how they think and act and having morals. Having good character will help you to be confident in your daily choices, identifying what is important to you, and most importantly, it will help you develop integrity which is moral code for strength, truthfulness and courage that will eventually build relationship with others and a foundation for success, Second is community services, many students view it as an unfortunate requirement to graduate high school while others are view it as a way to seek to serve others. Serving others will make a tremendous difference to you and to those around you, it will also make life worthwhile.
This year is important for me; now, I am a senior In Mercy College. I remember being a freshman and not understanding the idea of what life was outside high school. The transition was scary because I had to start over again; however, the experience was worthwhile. I am grateful for Mercy College for providing me with the scholarships that I needed to further my education. I hope to own my practice as a psychologist and I am here to thank my mother for supporting my decision.
At Last Good Evening class of 2017! I would also like to welcome parents, friend, and the Yucaipa High School faculty. I am delighted to be your class speaker, and I am thrilled to celebrate this special moment with all of you. Before I start I want to take the time to thank the two most important people in my life.
My beautiful colleagues, class of 2016, it’s an honor for me to be standing here as your commencement speaker. Graduates, congratulations, I have the feeling like I know each and every one of you even those that I’ve never talked to. Four years ago, we arrived here, to this campus, like little freshmen lost everywhere, trying to figure out the location of our next class, scattered between the actual names of the buildings vs. the common names known between people. How did this go so fast? It feels like yesterday, not four years ago.
We will face challenges. We will confront hardships. But we will get the job done.
