A diet that is lacking nutrients can lead to many different health problems ranging from tiredness or lack of energy to serious problems with the function of vital organs and lack of growth and development. Description on Essential Nutrients A daily essential nutrients that constitute a well balanced diet, the diet need to contain a certain component. Those components will be dairy, protein, fruit, vegetables, grains, fats and oils. There is a quantity of each component. Dairy products provide calcium, vitamin D and other essential nutrients. However, they are also major sources of fat, so it is best to intake fat-free milk or plant based milks like almond or soy. These typically fortified with calcium and other nutrients, making these excellent alternatives to dairy from cows. Fruit is a great source of nutrition, and also makes tasty snacks. They’re fresher and provide the most nutrients. Vegetables are primary sources of essential nutrients, such as vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber. Eating vegetables raw is indeed sometimes a healthier option. Grain foods include rolled oats, whole-meal, brown rice, barley, buckwheat and breakfast cereals like muesli. First of all, eat fiber. Having a few meatless meal each week and increasing the amount of fiber and whole grains in diet will reduce the cholesterol raising. This will reduce those fats build up on our artery walls. Watch out body weight, carrying too much weight is a key risk factor for such disease as well. Research has shown that overweight or obese have higher chances getting “CHD”. Exercise regularly is a prevention way too. Getting 30 minutes of exercise each day can improve the heart’s health, such as manage weight, lower cholesterol, control blood sugar, and even reduces stress. Having a good night’s sleep also a way of prevention. Poor sleep is tied to a number of risk factors for heart disease like high blood pressure, stroke, diabetes, and even heart failure. Smoking is the one of the major cause for “CHD”, when it’s combined with other risk factors, it will further raise the risk of having heart disease. Alcohol consumption affects the heart and also a risk factor for having “CHD”. Men and women are advised not to drink more than 14 units a week regularly.
